In Search Of Heroes Spreads Good News About Everyday, Real-Life Heroes Who Deserve Recognition For Their Good Works

One of the little 10 year old girls that lives next door, who knew my dad from birth, wrote two poems for him. They are so poignant I feel privileged to share them with you.

I miss your ralf. You were always kind, respectable, and fair to me. It seemed as if you were always there. There on my birthday, open and always with joy, there with tips on marigolds, popyseeds and more.

I miss you Ralf. You were a grandpa to me and I feel like you were put on earth just for me to love.

I miss you Ralf.

Second Poem

My head is spinning violently, and I know exactly why. I just can't understand why people I love die. In my heart I know you are happy, up in heaven with your Winnie. But, if I had it my way, everything would change. You both would be down on earth, with your lovely house.

Nothing would be complicated. There would be no tears. I would not be wearing black with sound ringing in my ears. I wish it didn't end this way. Although I think it fair that Winnie is opening the Pearly Gates for you up in the air.

So, even though it's hard to say goodbye, I can really understand you weren't really happy here, without your Winnie in your hands.

A stroke took you away from me, but joined you with your wife. I just want to say I'm glad I had you in my life. So, goodbye Ralf and Winnie too.

Please remember me because I'll always remember you.

Rest In Peace Ralf and Winnie, a friend and husband, a neighbor...Here lies Ralf, finally his mind is at peace.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. You cannot realize just how comforting they are at this sorrowful but glorious time. Not only is my dad peaceful but the appears to be in no pain at all.

Yesterday I sat by his bed and had a couple of beers with him. Of course, I drank his share while I reminisced about all the funny, sorrowful and joyful times we shared over the last 59 years. I also talked about my mom who I feel is with us, just waiting to escort my dad to heaven.

Today I got up early and prayed the rosary with him. Then I had a cup of strong coffee with him. Of course, I drank his share since he cannot swallow.

It is truly a miracle on how long a person can live without food or water. With my mom dying last April 16th at 92 and my dad dying within the next couple of days at 85, I really appreciate the value of having a strong constitution.

Over the last 4 years of taking care of my dad, he had so many near death experiences and trips to the emergency ward, the EMTs got a good laugh when I told them, "My dad is the bionic man (with so many parts replaced through emergency surgeries). If there was a nuclear explosion, the only survivors would be my dad and the cockroaches."

I also need to mention some other special people who have done a lot to bring comfort to my dad and family.

The hospice nurses are true angels and have been on duty 24 hours a day. They are so filled with compassion, light and wisdom. They have participated in the deaths of so many people, it is truly a privilege to have such kind and empathetic individuals ministering tenderly to my dad.

After my dad is gone, I will reply to each person's email in appreciation for you taking the time to be such a wonderful inspiration and encouragement to me.

Please pray for my dad and my family.

He suffered a massive stroke yesterday and is in a coma. His wish
was to die at home without any intervention.

If you can tell all our friends and heroes that know me to pray for
a painless and quick passing for my dad.

He is one of my biggest heroes. I will miss him very much.

Don't get me wrong! Money is good and especially the things you can buy and do with it. Most of us would not mind have a few extra hundred thousand in our bank accounts. (-:

However, when anyone suddenly has the epiphany that money and material possessions are not the most important things in life, it is a time to rejoice. Besides that means there is one less rich jerk in the world! (-:

The big question is that now that a person has become enlightened, WHATS NEXT! Do they have the courage to change their lives? Are they willing deal with the fear of loss and graciously receive the abuse of those in their immediate circle, like spouses, children, relatives, who love money, wealth, the latest electronic gadgets, new exotic cars, big houses and awesome vacations.

I respect Frank that once he realized the important things in life, he immediately dumped the businesses that were making him tons of money but he hated, that he did not enjoy working with, because they did not match his new paradigm.

That either takes a lot of balls or is completely stupid, depending on your perspective.

I guess the hardest thing in life is to be happy without already having the blessing of wealth and financial freedom. For those of us who can not write a million dollar check, don't drive BMWs, Porches, Lexus, Mercedes, etc, have good sized balances on our credit cards and endure lives that do not match our dream day, the challenge is to have faith in our dreams, accept our present reality and then persevere in our efforts to create the life we want.

Ruben Gonzalez: I think people like teachers, firefighters and policeman and the guys that are defending our liberty out in the military. Those people are making such a low amount of money for what they do. A lot of times they are putting their life on the line and they are making a huge difference in peoples lives. They are doing what other people are not willing to do so they are heroes for sure.

I also think people are wired differently, just by personality types. Some people are wired where they do need the recognition and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that as long as they are getting the job done. Other people feel more comfortable in being behind the lines, being support personal. Its funny, some things I want to be in the lime light and some things I prefer to be in the background so I think it shifts. I think where the persons heart is, is the key factor.

Something happened to me at the Salt Lake City Olympics that made it possible for me to compete. We were training and this was three days before the men’s race. At the Salt Lake City Olympics we are training on the track. We get seven trainings on the week before and I had a terrible crash on one of those rounds. I just wasn’t paying attention believe it or not and had an awful crash and my sled was pretty messed up. I am not much of a sled mechanic and I walk back into the start house with my sled and my face was just pale, not so much from my crash but from my sled. I thought “My gosh I have a race in three days and I don’t even have a sled.

This guy walks up to me, his name is Jonathan Edwards, he had completed in the Luge back in 1994 and I didn’t even know him. He walks up to me and he says “Hey Ruben just give me a file and in thirty minutes I will have fixed that sled for you.” He didn’t have to do that. He had nothing to gain other than the satisfaction that he was helping another human being. He was my guardian Angel.

He just came out of nowhere and he helped me out. It made me realize “Wow, what if we all strive to be like that?” To be on the lookout and have a certain level of awareness around us and ask ourselves “Where can I lend a helping hand? A simple thing for us might be life changing for someone else.

Alex Mandossian: I think most heroes don’t. I think there is an anonymous mother somewhere who is not getting the recognition that she deserves.

I think there is a politician who is honest and who has always been on the straight and narrow who has not received recognition. I think there is a governor out there or a mayor who hasn’t been recognized.
There is a prime minister who has saved lives in his country or her country who hasn’t gotten recognition. The reason we don’t know who they are is because they have not received recognition. They are leaders from behind. They are heroes from behind. They are anonymous and that’s how we started this interview.

The Discussion of Who Heroes Are and How People Become Heroes Is Enlightening For Those With the Courage To Live Heroic Lives and Help Their Kids Become Heroes At A Early Age.

There are many definitions of heroes and heroism through out history. Hero Substitution, Hero Formulation and Hero Identification are an integral part of the "Heroes Journey" gloriously defined by Joseph Campbell in his books "The Power of Myth" and "The Hero With A Thousand Faces."

If you look back through the history of television and movies until now, you see a radical transformation in the definition of heroes, heroines and heroism. Up until the era of political correctness, there was a clear distinction and dividing line between good and evil, sinners and saints, heroes and villains. Heroes and Heroines were the good guys with a few minor personality quirks and weaknesses.

Most heroes were men, who were willing to sacrifice their lives to save women, children and their society. These heroes were blessed by the gods and goddesses as the sacrificial lambs of the society...the protectors and saviors who were willing to battle all enemies to the death. Depending on their strength, courage, intelligence skills and blessings of the gods and goddeses, they were victorious but eventually suffered a glorious death.

They were rewarded with fame, wealth and the opportunity to have sex with the most beautiful and powerful women, despite their original social status. They received massive rewards because of their huge contribution to the safety and security of the women and children.

Since they were the strongest and most skilled warriors, the society benefited from this sanctioned form of selective breeding...matching up the strongest, most beautiful and intelligent men and women to provide a superior breed of citizen. Survival of the society was the ultimate goal that sanctified the death of as many men as required to insure safety, security, peace and prosperity.

Most of the heroes in TV and movies followed this paradigm up until the political correctness of the 1990s, fought the bad guys and won the most beautiful damsel in distress. It was implied they lived happily ever after , had lots of beautiful, strong and smart kids who were willing to give their lives in war to be the saviors of their society. Some examples are Superman, Batman, Robin, Flash Gordon, Wonder Woman, and Bionic Woman.

A trend appeared in the 1990s that glorified the anti-hero, who was torn between evil and good. They were tortured souls who vacillated between manifesting their evil and good personalities.In most cases, they eventually did the right thing because they benefited personally or still had an ounce of good.

As the famous, talented, actor, Gregory Alan Williams, author of the book "A Gathering of Heroes" about peoples' actions during the LA Riots in 1992 and star of "Bay Watch" made a profound statement during his 1993 "In Search Of Heroes Program" interview by High School journalist Dan Mader, when he was recognized as a real-life hero. He said, "There is a little bit of good in the worst of us and a little bit of bad in the best of us."

The anti-heroes often loathed society and looked at citizens as victims and losers, worthy of nothing but their miserable existence. A good example is the Punisher and Spawn. Darker versions of Batman, Superman, and Spiderman, their evil persona were explored in the story lines in the movies and comic books...the thesis and anti-thesis.

There have recently been numerous movies and TV programs where average citizens receive miraculous powers through extraterrestrial influences, paranormal intervention or scientific experiments run amok. Some of my favorites are the HEROES, Chuck and Terminator TV series. These are perfect examples of Hero substitution, formation and identification.

I also love the comic book Super Heroes sagas like the X-Men, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Ghost Rider, Wonder Woman, Hellboy, Flash Gordon, Electra, Terminator, Predator and Aliens. As we watch the heroes deal with their weaknesses and strengths we get a real glimpse into the battle that rages within our own souls for supremacy...good or evil, hero or villian, sinner or saint, life or death.

Parents, grandparents, educators and children need to know how the human brain, hormonal system, biochemistry and learning methods are radically different for boys and girls. They are hard-wired into the genetic code.

When adults accept the truth and respond appropriately, each child can be a genius. Teaching methods should make learning fun.

Left brain hemisphere teaching: linear, logic, math and verbal skills have too long dominated. We must return to past teaching methods that incorporated the incredible powers of the right brain hemisphere: creativity, spontaneity, colors, music, imagination. When we integrate kids' brains, astounding success will replace the miserable failure of the current teaching methods and philosophy.

When students learn the secrets of success in Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich", schooling can be cut in half.

Super-learning Mind-Maps, graphic slide shows and music enhance learning and speed action. After interviewing over 40 leaders in internet marketing and copywriting, Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich," is the one book that was credited the most in helping them achieve the correct wealth consciousness mindset.

Napoleon said that Andrew Carnegie believed that if his secrets were taught in all public schools and colleges that it would so revolutionize the entire educational system that schooling time could be cut in half. For this reason I have chosen "Think and Grow Rich" as the primary training program for young people in my "In Search Of Heroes" program.

I have converted the public domain copy into a super-learning format that appeals to both boys and girls. I created mind-maps, powerpoints with super-leaning music and Microsoft word outlines and text in no more than 5 word columns to speed reading and increase comprehension.

I will be releasing a free membership site using the butterfly software in the near future. Hopefully, every family and community will read each section and create their own family and community Master Mind group that is such a critical part of Andrew Carnegie's model to transform society by helping every person understand how to accumulate wealth and achieve their dreams.

After reading his original work, I felt it was important to edit his public domain copy so it appealed to boys and girls. The original was apparently written to men specifically. With the huge impact women have on the family and society, there is good reason girls learn the secrets of wealth accumulation also at an early age.

If we as a society hope to solve many of the social problems, we will need boys and girls, men and women working together rather than at war with each other.

The beginning of wisdom is when each person can discover their own hero in their own minds and integrate their right and left brain hemispheres and female and male natures into a cohesive whole that can accomplish anything a person chooses.

Dear Ralph,

Thank you for wanting to help.

I have finished writing letters to those I wish to say goodbye. I worry the most about my daughter. She is the person who loved me and trusted me as if she could see my soul and from the first moment her tiny fingers wrapped around my pinkie she owned my heart.

I never experienced love so pure as I received from my Baby Girl. She is a mom now. She has four gorgeous children of her own. Her oldest is six.

Tonight I was Santa out in the yard. They heard the Bells and peaked out there windows. Santa was in their very own yard with a big bag of toys. When I saw them peaking out the window. I gestured with my hands folded by my head for them to get to sleep. They disappeared in a flash. Later my daughter told me the oldest one jumped into bed and squealed " MAMA HE can't see me awake".

They were so excited they were trying to keep their eyes closed, with big grins on their faces. After that I went to the apartment of some folks that I know don't have much. He has a security camera set up on his porch due to the neighborhood. I let myself be taped by the camera while I unloaded a bag full of toys and Little something for mom and dad.

Last year he suspected me of doing this but he didn't have a camera. I think they are going to have a surprise when they see the tape.

He is a hard working young guy. I know he wants there to be honor and dignity in the world. Unfortunately he thinks it is in that phony racist crap.

I hope I have been able to make a dent in his rigid thinking and show him a different way to view people.

Anyway I keep drooling on.

I do thank you again for wanting to help but I really think I have gone beyond that now. I still have a few weeks before it's time.

Oh I just remembered. If I may droll on a bit more.

Last night I could not sleep so I went for a drive. I drove most of the night. About 2:30 AM I found myself in a restaurant That I have not been in about 18 years.

I used to go there when I was a kid 40 years ago and you could get 5 cheeseburgers for a buck. I was a singer in a rock band and we used to practice in a guys basement who lived just across the alley from the restaurant.

So I got a cheeseburger and a cup of coffee under $3. I live about 70 miles from there now so I don't go there anymore. I was kind of eerie.

Dear Vietnam Vet,

Those involved in hospice are angels. I took care of my mom and dad for three
years 24-7 after they had catastrophic illnesses. My mom died in April and my
dad is still on hospice. It is difficult to continue caring for him...a huge sacrifice.

Your heart is in the right place and you have done much good for others. You
still have the opportunity to do more good while you are still alive. I am
so sorry to hear about your back problems, but you paid into the system and
deserve the money. You should be proud about receiving what is rightfully
yours.

As for you wife and son, they chose their own path. You are not responsible for
how they turned out. It is a miracle you took care of them for so many years.
I am dealing with the same thing in my own marriage where the biblical saying
applies, "Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate. Bless those who curse
you. Pray for those who despitefully use and abuse you for this is the only way
to turn evil to good...by returning good for evil."

Since your life is filled with forgiveness for others, just think how many of your
sins God has forgiven. Unfortunately, I believe he does not forgive you for
taking your own life. In that moment you become your own god and will
suffer the punishment you know you deserve for usurping God's power of
life and death.

Eternity is a long time. Wouldn't your rather spend it in heaven rather than
HELL?

Dear Ralph,

You should be receiving two book in the mail. Both books are Thought provoking. I hope you enjoy them and find some tidbit that will assist you in your endeavors to inject some good in this world.

As for me it is people like you that make me sad that I have to leave. I was once like you. I tried to make a difference. Back in the seventies I started a food program to help who ever needed it.

I not only helped with food but what ever else I could do without actually handing out money. I involved my family as much as I could to teach them not only the joys that come from helping others, but that all peoples have commonalities and in some trick of the Gods this is how we are able to celebrate the differences.

(I have found that in many things the spiritual is a mirror image of the physical). That was when I lived in the city.

I had to move from the city in an effort to save my family. I wanted to get my wife into a new environment and my son who somehow found his way into NeoNatzi racist group into a new environment. So I moved to a country setting hoping it would make a difference.

It did not.

They only hated me more for it.

I continued to try to be a good force in the world I worked with churches in various food programs. I also volunteered at a local hospice.

I would sit with people who were chronically ill or dying so their families could have a break or do whatever they had to do. I must say I found that to be a privilege. Most recently I was working on becoming certified as a music practitioner for the chronically ill and dying. Thanks to my wife once again I was crushed in my heart and unable to continue.

I have had a couple of injuries to my lower back and now after two surgeries I am left with chronic pain and nerve damage. I have been forced to apply for Social security disability. That goes against everything I am.

I 'm sorry I have gone on way too much about myself and my woes.

It is not a very thick book but it is a very deep book and considered a classic by some.I find myself re-reading parts of this book for meditative reasons.

Why not stay alive and spread good?

Why not share your experience with the world to give others hope and
the sinners the exposure they deserve?

earth. With all your suffering you deserve HEAVEN!

Don't let the evil people have victory over you. Killing yourself only
hurts you and your kids and friends. Those who have sinned against

Dear Ralph,
Your response to my email regarding the villain was refreshing. I am grateful for your sensitive and gracious response. I had to make a decision about my marriage long ago.

I chose to stay no matter what. The villain and my wife continued to see each other for quite some time after the episode I wrote to you about. I chose to try to keep my marriage for the sake of my children.

My children are now grown and I am free to go. Unfortunately the villain was not the only person my wife was seeing. Even though she has finally stopped all of her fooling around, it still haunts our marriage. She has chosen not be honest about the things she has done and therefore negates my ability to forgive.

When I married her I vowed I would not divorce her. I would instead just hit the road and remain celibate or die. I have chosen the latter.

My wife's inability to face reality has not only been harmful to our marriage, it has caused great suffering for my children.

I will be leaving this world on Sunday January 13th.

I chose this day for it's non descriptiveness. It is after the holidays and in the middle of the month.

My wife will be at church pretending to be holy and I will have plenty of time alone to be certain of my method.

I wish you success in your endeavor to find the positive in a very messy world.

Dear Vietnam Vet,

Thank you for the information. I grieve at your suffering and the betrayal of your marriage by the person I recognized as a hero in my program is "In Search Of Heroes."

We are trying to define who are heroes and when by asking individuals who seem to be doing something good at one moment in time.

Gregory Alan Williams nailed what we are doing when he said, "There is a little bit of bad in the best of us and a little bit of good in the worst of us." No one can be a hero all the time because we are all human and make mistakes and are self-centered. All fall short of the glory of God.

My choice of people to interview was based on the search for who might be real heroes. Through the process of interviewing people like the person you consider a villain, you don't know if they are heroes until you watch their lives over a period of time. Their answers show their true colors.

The process basically identifies people who might be heroes in some area of their life. Anyone can be a hero if they help another person at one moment in time.

There are many different types of heroes and most people are heroes for only a short period of time, but that is enough to honor the good they did at that time.

I pray your suffering will be healed and the "villain" will receive the punishment for his sins. Often, people don't pay in this life for their sins but I can guarantee God does not forget or forgive what they did.

Wow! Was this a Happy Holidays message I never expected.

My conversation with a suicidal and very depressed Vietnam Veteran definitely made my Christmas and New Years Holidays memorable. There are so many people who suffer emotionally from severe, debilitating depression. Often the feelings of loneliness and depression escalate during the Holidays into a suicidal frenzy.

Many returning Vietnam Vets were verbally abused and excoriated by the media and the war protesters during and after the Vietnam War. Few people realize just how traumatized our soldiers were from serving our nation during that terrible time. Our brave soldiers and service people who sacrificed so much so that we could have freedom in the United States did not deserve the horrible treatment they received.

The Vietnam Vet who is involved in this life or death discussion gave me permission to share his pain and my response to his cries for help in a dark and desperate place.

What would you say to this person that will help him choose life over death, good over evil, love rather than hate.

Please post your comments that are encouraging and uplifting and any good advice or resources you know about to help everyone who is suffering from the terminal depression.

Dear Ralph,

I really do appreciate and applaud you for the giant effort you have invested in the hero thing. BUT I do have to question your screening process. I stumbled across the interview for "a person who is not a hero".

I have to tell you this person (I will not even give him the honor of calling him a man) had an affair with my wife. But to be even less reality based when I found out and called his house I got his wife.

So thinking that he would not mind since he was doing my wife, I asked her out. She inquired who I was and I told her I was married to the person her husband was seeing. When I told her my wife's name she said "Again?"

It turns out the two of them had gone out before I married her but while he was married. After she hung up he called my house and started ranting about me talking to his wife and telling her about the affair.

I was so dumbfounded that when he said he wanted to fight me I could not believe it. First of all he never could fight second he was then one in the wrong. I chose not to meet him for a fight.

I knew that he knew he was no match for me so I could only assume it would be some kind of trick or I would be ambushed be several people. He continued to see my wife for some time after that.

What he does not know is that I spared his life. I found out where he lived and watched him for awhile. I had a 22 cal rifle with a scope.

One night I was thinking I would kill him so I waited for him to come home. I had him in the cross hairs but for some reason I thought about his kids and how much this would hurt them.

Then I thought about my children and how much it would hurt them to find out their mother was sneaking around with another man. I also realized that he would not be with my wife had she not made herself available to him.

Hurting and confused I decided to endure this pain and distrust until my children were grown. That is what I have done.

I must tell you, to hear this person make comments on ethics and morals made me physically ill.

I will be dead by sometime next month and none of this will matter then. But I think you would like to be aware that your hero screening process might need a little tweaking. I have known real heroes and I have known "person who is not a hero" since we where kids. He is no hero by any stretch of the imagination.

Carl Turner: I think you are one of the unsung heroes too because by finding out what other people can do, you can then let the young people of this world know so they can avoid some of the learning curves that you and I have experienced.

Sharif Khan: I think it’s the greatest thing! I’m so glad you were able to find me on the web somehow, and when I took a look at your “In search of Heroes Program” and what it’s doing for the youth, as well as for promoting local heroes, and helping their businesses, which will allow them to further give back to their communities and further be mentors to the youth and students, who in turn can learn more about writing and more about becoming heroes; it’s a wonderful positive cycle that you’ve created and I really admire what you’re doing and respect you. You are a hero in your own right.

Debra Berg: I think your program is a valuable concept because it brings together the hero role models of parents and community leaders with kids who are our future. Through role models they learn important life and vocational skills. Many kids are missing both good heroes and the skills. The result is that they end up floundering throughout the rest of their lives. It’s tough enough out in the real world, even with the best training. Many schools are lacking what the In Search of Heroes program offers.

Jason James: I think it’s tremendous because you are just sort of spreading the right message and that’s the message of having heroes, people to look up to, staying positive, making the right decisions in life. Your web site, InSearchofHeroes.com, is just unbelievable.

There is so much great information on there. It is so motivating to go to your web site and listen to interviews and see the difference you have made in people’s lives, especially young people. In business, you have been to these conferences and seminars and put up the pictures and take down the interviews and there is just tremendous information there for people to take and it’s all free. It’s unbelievable what you have done. I’m so glad to be part of it so thank you so much for having me in your heroes program.

Mike Filsaime: I think we are blessed to have people like you in this world that get heroes together out there to work and speak and to help young kids. We need more things like that in the world and I’m so glad to participate in a program like this. I know that you’ve created some butterfly effects that will change people’s lives and young people’s lives.

They’ll look back and one day they’ll do an interview with a successful radio show or television station. Someone will ask “What was it that changed your life?” They’ll say it was a program called In Search of Heroes and they’ll talk about it.

I think you are leaving a legacy here and I want to commend you and applaud you for what you are doing for young kids. It’s the most selfless act a human being can do. I am very proud of you.

Paulie Sabol: I appreciate it, and I especially appreciate the diversity that it represents, that there is a place at the table for everybody. There is a hero that you can identify with. Even if there is a hero that you don’t fully identify with, you can grow in that identification with heroes that you might not even considered at first.
I know you’ve used the word acceptance a few times, but I think acceptance is a wimpy position.

People don’t want to be merely accepted for who they are; they want to be celebrated for who they are, and that is what In Search of Heroes does. It celebrates the unique and consistent communications of success by different people.

Donna Fox: I think the In Search of Heroes Program is truly phenomenal. That you are able to see the hero in everyone and allow that heroism to trickle down and seed of heroism gets planted at a very young age.
Whether that seed gets the water and the soil and the nutrients it needs to grow is really up to the lessons that we teach young people as they grow. The seed is there but do we feed it? Do we nurture it?

The In Search of Heroes Program is going to do exactly that by telling every story of every person who is phenomenal, and every person is phenomenal. It builds and it grows.

If there is one person out there who hears this interview and thinks, “Donna is not all that special and look what she did. Now she is pretty successful. I can do that, too.” That is priceless.

Tom Beal: I was real excited to hear about it in March 2005 when you first told me about it. I was really excited to hear that you were putting these things together for years. The wisdom that’s going to be shared I think is going to dramatically impact people’s lives.

Similar to when Napoleon Hill studied all the top experts of the 1900’s. I think the wisdom you have captured and are willing to share with the youth and society as a whole will positively impact future generations.

Troy White: I think it’s an absolutely wonderful thing you are doing, and I look forward to helping spread the word because this is what the world needs. Kids especially need more heroes, and not the video game heroes but real life heroes who having something to teach kids and to share with kids and to lead with kids. It’s an amazing program you’ve got here. It’s going to change a lot of lives.

For those listening, there are some amazing people in this program. Listen to their interviews and listen to their stories and most importantly put into action some of the ideas that they give you.

One thing I do is right next to my vision board in my office I have a sheet with a thousand squares on it. It is my goal to become one of the best writers in the world, so every hour I spend writing I mark an “X” off on that sheet. It’s a painful process to start with a blank piece of paper, but does it ever feel good when you fill up that 1,000th square, and that can apply to anybody no matter what it is you are trying to do.

In 1,000 hours you can become very proficient in something. It’s that simple. Just mark off an “X” every time you spend an hour in whatever it is you are passionate about, and when your 1,000 squares are filled up, start a new sheet because I guarantee that your second sheet will fill up quicker because now you know how good it feels. So that would be something I would like to leave that has made an amazing difference in my life.

Michel Fortin: Well, that’s the point. This is exactly what it is. What do you think its doing? It’s educating. This is exactly why I love this program and I was one of the first people to actually be fully aware of it and fully aware of my potential contribution to this program because I do believe that this program is not just a point of going out there and being heroes. It is going out there to teach other people the power of being a hero and it educates them and then makes changes in their lives, who will then change the lives of the people around them, who will then just grow exponentially.

You don’t necessarily have to be a hero or you don’t necessarily have to get somebody to become a hero. All you have to do is to educate others on what, how powerful it is to become one and if they do become one then they do it to others and then they do it to others and then they do it to others. It’s one huge multilevel marketing process.

Chuck Daniel: I really like the concept behind the program, because, first of all, it teaches young people a set of valuable skills and it does it by providing them with role models who are already successful and so those role models can give them a great education and also opportunities to use what they learn.

If they can successfully learn the skills and use them to either help a business or create a business of their own, they can see how to provide valuable products, and they can also see that by providing that value that they can be compensated for that.

That’s fantastic, because they don’t teach this in regular school classes. You learn some valuable stuff in there but you don’t learn about entrepreneurship. You don’t learn about building a business. You don’t learn about how to figure out what is valuable in providing that value and it's that value that you get compensated for.

So I think it has a wonderful effect on the students involved, because they can actually see it work and then they can take those skills forward with them into whatever they ultimately decide to do, and parents gain confidence because they can say this is something they can help encourage their children to do and this particular avenue is something that is probably more positive than if their time was occupied in other ways, and of course, business people get the benefit of these student’s enthusiasm and they can get help to accomplish their business goals for probably a lot cheaper than they could if they actually had to hire the experts and the business people themselves can give back their expertise.

So it’s a nice big circle where every one benefits from everyone else. I really see that as the impact that it has on all of those people.

Robert Channing: I think everybody in the world should benefit from this and will benefit from it. I think the word has to get out. I think I mentioned to you before that I want to do something with you Ralph, with my Power Performers and I’m going to promote "In Search Of Heroes" in everything that I do. That’s one of my life goals.

David Hancock: I think it’s incredible. I think the fact that the In Search of Heroes program reaches beyond just a targeted niche of this one group over another, I think it’s going to be huge. It’s something I think the parents can share with their kids. It’s something business people can share with their employees. I think it’s something the youth can share among each other. I think it’s incredible. I’m very, very excited about it and have been. Again, I’m honored to even be a part of it.

Frank Garon: I think it’s great what you're doing. I think it’s a celebration of the average person and a reaffirmation that doing the right thing has its own rewards, that you're not alone. You can find heroism, fulfillment, enjoyment, and satisfaction just in day-to-day events because I celebrate the average person.
If you gave me the keys to a Peterbilt, a big white freight liner or tractor trailer, I could drive across the country tomorrow and not hit a curb, not miss a gear or not whatever. I still walk with the average person in very many ways.

If I walk back to work driving a truck or working in an auto parts store tomorrow, I would do okay with that because I know what the average guy goes through, but at the same point, what a wonderful opportunity we all have here to take advantage of the internet and some of the things we’re speaking about and just move up in life.
The internet has been very, very good to me. That’s all I can tell you. It’s definitely been a blessing. I really can't complain. Anything I don’t like in my life, I could change now, this second.

I have a world full of opportunity at my feet, and so, to sit there are cry and go, “Oh, I got it so bad.” That’s stupid. I'm not sick. I'm not in the hospital. I'm not dying, I didn’t just lose somebody in a tube train in London so basically, just shut up and get back to work, Frank. That’s the way I look at it.

Craig Garber: I think it’s a great program, any time you raise awareness about children’s needs for heroes is fantastic. Getting people talking about those things is great. Like my son yesterday, he came home from the bus, and he said kids were arguing about the war, or the presidency, and I said look, even if you guys disagree, at least you guys are talking about it, being aware about it.

Either way if you and these kids vote at least you’re getting involved in a positive decision in your life. So, raising awareness is important. Look, you’re trying to save peoples lives, especially young people, as I said before you’re the hero here, not me. You’re the one setting all this up, and making a positive approach to things. I think it’s fantastic.

Heather Seitz: I think that it’s phenomenal, because it gives people a lot of different experiences and I know a number of them personally and they’re good friends of mine. They’ve all got things to contribute. Just one piece of advice or just a word from one person can make a huge impact and it stick with you. I just mentioned briefly about this comment that my friend had told me years ago.

That one statement stuck with me for years, so you’ve got some just absolutely incredible people from all walks of life, different backgrounds, different goals and I think that it’s just a phenomenal program because it’s bringing all these different things to people all over.

Kevin Hurley: I think you’re doing a wonderful job. I hope everybody is listening up. I hope it’s inspiring you to become a hero. Again, you don’t have to go out and make a million dollars; you don’t have to be on TV. You could go to the local food bank and help put some stuff together for the holidays. Jay Conrad Levinson: I think it’s so valuable, because it’s not one of the things covered in the curriculum of the educational facilities of the world. It’s not one of the things covered by all the parents and aunts and uncles and grandparents that teach the kids. It’s something that is very important, but it takes very special people to single out that message and to single out the people who need to hear it.

I think that’s what makes it unique and very important. You and your programs are one of the only sources that exist on earth that show people that role models are all over the place and all you have to do is look. Your father may be a role model, your mother may be a role model, and people who you don’t read about in the newspapers also could be role modeling you. There are lots of heroes out there and they don’t all wear ribbons and badges and uniforms

Perry Marshall: I think if you are asking these kinds of probing questions of business people you are certainly bringing out a whole dimension in business. Business people hardly ever get asked these kinds of questions.

You are trying to create some air time so younger people are hearing from business people and different leaders and getting the inside story. I think if the inside story gets heard it can only help.

I think it is possible to be successful in a whole bunch of areas of life. I think a lot of people have this idea that they can be successful in business or help poor kids somewhere or do whatever but that they certainly can’t be successful in all the spheres.

Well you certainly can’t do everything, but at the same time I think you can be successful in all the arenas of your life, at least in some measure. It’s not like I have to be a loser in this department and a winner in this other department.

There was no stability in Gary's later life...only the extremes of experience that fueled his incredibly effective copywriting. As many of his friends say, "Gary's copy was anything but boring. You either loved or hated him or both depending on his mood." I had the unique opportunity to video and photo Gary's funeral memorial service and party. You will see from the testimonials and memorial service that Gary Halbert was one of the most unique humans God ever created. Below is a letter I wrote to Gary while he was still alive and suffering from severe depression.

Dear Gary, I heard through the grapevine you could use some cheering up so here is my best effort. You are a great man, although very controversial. You are a pioneer in spreading the knowledge of the power of copywriting! You are anything but boring or mundane, a real person...not a phony-baloney, money-hungry rip-off artist.

Your work for the hurricane victims and other charitable causes is exceptional. You are a hero in my book. I created a heroes page honoring your vast contributions to humanity.

You are an inspiration to people who do not fit the common mold or follow the beaten path. You are unique and should be proud of your accomplishments. Your being yourself is a breath of fresh air. It is encouraging to many of us who are not ashamed of who we are and what we believe. The world is so sick of phonies who lie and deceive others in the name of money, power and material possessions. The world is desperate for those with integrity.

Rejoice in your uniqueness and all the great things you have accomplished and the great successes and recognition right around the corner.

I know what it feels like to be depressed and battle health problems...they have plagued me for my entire life. Little did I realize my hormone levels were screwed up from birth. My radical lifestyle just compounded the problems of depression and suicidal tendencies.

With your radical lifestyle, adrenal failure may be a huge factor in how you are feeling each day. I found the major answers to my tortured soul in the alternative medicine field. Both my wife and I were suffering form adrenal failure. 80% of Americans are in the same boat.

PPS I know this works because I was there. My pupils expanded and contracted so frequently, it freaked me out. When I took the saliva hormone test, the results proved I was suffering from adrenal exhaustion stage 2 close to the catastrophic stage 3. It took a year to get better, but what a blessing now to have balanced emotions.

Ray Edwards:I think what you are doing is admirable. I think it is very important.
We were talking just a few minutes ago, about how it is one thing to look around at the world and say, “Wow, this place is messed up and somebody needs to do something about it.” We are all able to do that. Most of us probably do from time to time.

I think it is a lot rarer for someone to stand up and say, “I’m doing something about it.” I think that this program that you have put together is exactly that. It is a case of somebody standing up and saying, “I’m going to do something about this.”

This is my task that I can do to contribute to a solution.” I think it is interesting that you started this venture as an idea that was in your head, just one person. Look at how it has grown and look at the people that have become involved in it.

I was looking over the list of folks that have been interviewed and that you have been talking with and some of the things that you have put together. I realized that I am truly humbled that you asked me to be interviewed. I feel like I am in the company of people who are much more accomplished and probably are more worthy to be talking about these things than I am. I think this can serve as an example.

I think people should get involved. Business people, you have a powerful way of influencing people because let’s face it, what gets people’s attention, especially young people is money. You have a powerful avenue for influencing the world for the better.

I hope that many people will be inspired by and I know they are inspired by what you are doing with the In Search of Heroes Program. I know they are and will contribute to it in whatever way they possibly can and will be inspired to go out and take more action of their own.

DJ Dave Bernstein: I think it's amazing. I think it's absolutely amazing. I think that anything that motivates people to be the best person they are; to do the best job they can is just incredible, and you're doing with the In Search of Heroes Program exactly what I'm doing with my www.DaddyDays.net site. I mean, I'm trying to show single fathers how to not be negative, but to make a negative lemon into lemonade.

With the In Search of Heroes Program, you are making heroes out of regular people as well, single fathers and single mothers, right down to the people who need it the most. People who've been abused and ridiculed, and been told that they're never going to succeed and it's just so nice that there are people out there like yourself that are telling people, "you know what, you can make a difference. You can make a difference in your house, you can make a difference in your city, and you can make a difference in your country!"

Willie Crawford: I love the whole concept because the youth of today are going to be our leaders of tomorrow, and anything we can do to shape their minds to set positive examples is valuable. Television is too willing to provide negative examples and that is partly because of what people want.

There is this side of humanity that you know when you drive past an accident we rubberneck and gawk and try to see who was killed or whatever. There is a part of us that wants to see tragedy, but there is a part of us that wants to know that man is basically good and wants proof of that.

The greatest impact that I can have and most of us can have is to provide positive examples, positive role models, showing that a future spokesman focuses on helping others. If you help enough people get what they want you will get what you want. If we just focus on helping others, life will work out in your favor. It will.

Jeff Dedrick: I think it can have a huge impact. As I understand, you are going to be expanding this into other areas, or possibly people are listening to this it’s already expanded into a lot of different areas. If people can find a hero that they can relate to, be it outside of Internet marketing, in different businesses, if it’s in different areas, if they can relate be it, if it’s a female or a male of different races, that’s what’s going to be great.

To expand this to include more and more people it’s just a better chance that people are going to be able to relate. They are going to be able to realize that they can change or they can make a difference in their own lives.
They don’t realize that.

I don’t want to name celebrities but some of them are so messed up, but people are hanging on their every word or looking at "People Magazine" or "Us" or whatever the magazines are in the newsstand as though these guys are experts on anything. All they are doing is maybe singing songs or making movies and that’s it. Otherwise they are screwed up.

Joe Polish: Here’s the truth. I don’t know much about it. Although from the times that I’ve met with you and when I see what you’re doing, knowing very little about all you’re doing, I think it’s fabulous.
Whenever you can sit down and have conversations with people that can encourage others and give them direction and your motivation is to help children, to me, that’s very positive. I think everyone that would pursue anything along those lines is adding a lot of value to the world and is doing a lot of great things. I really hope that your "Heroes Program" does help a lot of people and gets a lot of messages out that, you know as well as I do, aren’t being broadcast by the news media.

"Part 2: Listen to What the Heroes Think About the In Search Of Heroes Program and Its Impact On Youth, Parents and Business People" by Ralph Zuranski

Dave Kekich: Oh, it is empowering, especially to young people. And by going through a program like this, especially with young people, it can shave years of painful trial and error from people’s lives. It can set them on a positive track they might never have discovered on their own. I stumbled across these ideas, mostly late in life, and I wish I could have had something like this when I was young. It could have changed my life dramatically.

Cameron Johnson: Just imagine if every single person in this great country and in the world could hear all of these interviews, and what they would take away from them. You know, the people that we can touch are really the people who are normally seeking out help. They are actually the ones who have the ambition and motivation to take the first step, though, and actually go and find positive influence such as the “In Search of Heroes” program, but I think its impact on youth, parents, and business people is only positive. I think that anything that is positive is good.

I think positive cash flow is good! So I think positive impact is so powerful, and I think that I am thankful that you have spent so much time doing these interviews and creating this program, because there is so much value in it. So many people can learn so much from all the different people you have interviewed.

Jeff Wright: The In Search of Heroes program is a tremendous program in part because it is doing a good thing, but mostly because of its accessibility through the Internet, putting a positive message out globally through this resource will change lives, and I believe that positive visions disseminated widely may be perhaps the most important use of the Internet, and your work with this resource will certainly bear much fruit as we hear testimonies of people who perhaps aren’t even alive yet about how their lives have changed because of the content that they encountered in In Search of Heroes.

Len Thurmond: When you first told me about this I thought it was an unbelievable idea. I was completely honored that you asked me to be part of it. I’m sure I’ve gone into a lot more detail than you wanted me to, but I do appreciate the opportunity. I’m a very outspoken person when it comes to things like this.

I’ve heard some of the other interviews that you’ve done and if we can find a way to get these interviews to people who need to hear them, we can change the world. It’s amazing how you’ve interviewed people who were mostly my peers, people whom I know, and people who’ve been successful. A lot of people who’ve had similar stories to what we’ve done. Everybody has had their own crosses to bear and their all different, but they are all equally as upsetting and they’re not unlike millions of other people out there.

If we can find a way to get this out to people, to let them know that it’s okay to be them, to let them know that not only is it okay, but it’s good to be them and that they can move on and be whatever they want to be. They can become the success stories that they want to be.

As I said earlier, success has nothing to do with money; it has to do with being happy. Then we can do a world of good with this. I personally will do anything and everything I can to help get this out there. This is an amazing project, one that’s long overdue and I think the only trial ahead of us is figuring out how we can get this in front of the people who need to see it and need to hear it.

My hope for this is that anyone listening to this will pass it on to those who need to hear it or those who have the ability to give it to those who need to hear it.

If my story can help anyone, that’s incredible. That’s my life’s goal is to help anyone. As I said earlier, if you can help make a difference in one person’s life, I honestly believe that that is the definition of success, but with all of the other interviews you’ve done, with all of the other testimonials that you have, with all the other affirmation of life that you’ve got on here, I can’t see how this could be anything but an incredible life-giving project; one that could save literally millions of lives.

Right now it’s a matter of it getting to the right people. It’s a matter of getting it to the schools. It’s a matter of getting it to the churches, to the suicide centers, to the people who are really hurting who really need to hear these things; who need to know that it’s not over, that there is hope.

Not only is there hope, but that they can do whatever they want and that it’s time to stop listening to the crap that’s been filled into their heads. That’s not what life is about; they can do whatever they want.

I applaud you. I can’t think of a better way to help the world than with something like this. I want you to know that I will do everything that I can to try and get this out to the people who need to hear it because I think it is the most heartfelt and important project that I’ve seen in a long, long time.

What do you think about the In Search Of Heroes Program and its impact on youth, parents and business people?

Lorrie-Morgan-Ferrero: The way you got it going, it will have a huge impact. My only concern is that it’s only online, and while I am always online and a lot or most people are online I think, there are other people it won’t reach, but, as it grows online hopefully it will be taken out in a bigger way as well and people will know there is a place for them and get some support. It’s a great program you’ve got going and it’s a heart-felt need that you’re filling.

John Assaraf: It is about time someone takes them serious and does something for the youth. We have got to start with our younger children. See, you and I get to change our mind. With our children we have to help them make up their mind. So when we can give them the information, no matter what backgrounds they come from, no matter how much schooling they have had, no matter what kind of errors they have made in the past, no matter what kind of hurt they have got in their hearts or in their minds, they can overcome them. They can do something worthwhile and meaningful, caring and spectacular starting with their life right now.

What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child.

Alex Mandossian: For those who want to have it impact them I think it’s fantastic. For those who haven’t recognized it yet, I trust you will do your best to put it in front of them so that they recognize it. So if that part of us recognizes the greatness of this program we will embrace it and hopefully spread the word.

Jason Potash: I think it’s a great idea and I commend you for putting together the program, because no one has tried to make that blend between business, youth and also family and tying it all together, and having role models that children can follow. I was fortunate enough early in life that my father was an entrepreneur. He had his own company for many years and I was exposed to that environment. Strangely enough, I still decided to become an entrepreneur.

I’m just joking! My dad was never home, he worked weekends and he worked during the summer. When all the kids were out playing basketball, he was at the office. Obviously, he had to sacrifice. I learned that you have to sacrifice to get ahead. He did very well and was very successful and got to a point in his life where I remember one point where my dad was on the couch in the afternoon for most of the summer.

I was like, “Dad aren’t you working?” He was like, “I’m just going to watch a ball game on T.V. and take it easy.” He didn’t do much at all but he put in the effort to make it happen. Again, I was fortunate I had a role model and a Hero in my life who was an entrepreneur.

I think that in the school system, they don’t teach entrepreneurialism, they don’t teach people to have the desire to want to be a creator, be a visionary, to want to go out on their own. You usually just learn the 1-2-3s of being involved in a business or accounting, history or geography, whatever it might be.

Even in high school and grade school, I know that no one really struck me as a Hero. Even in the academic system that inspired me to want to become self employed or an entrepreneur, or to let me know there were options out there.

I don’t have to work for the man, punch a time clock and like everybody, go to grade school, graduate high school, go and get a job. You work for that job about 10 years, get another job and that’s it. You are there for 20 or 30 years and you retire and whatever. Then it’s moving down to Florida to enjoy your retirement.

That does happen, but small business fuels the economy. Most of the jobs created right now are created through small businesses. Entrepreneurs, they fuel and drive the economy as well because they are the visionaries, creating the ideas. They are creating companies today with one employee that become the companies that have 5,000 people tomorrow.

Without those entrepreneurs and those visionaries and those people that are willing to take the chance and risk it all to make it happen, no matter what negative circumstances and consequences may lie ahead of them, those are the ones that are making a difference.

I think it’s great you are getting to the source, as we talked about changing society as a whole, it all begins with the children, it all begins with those that are impressionable, those that are young, those that are going through the school system.

I think it’s great you are trying to appeal to them, to get them to share some of the views and the beliefs that you have as it applies to being an entrepreneur. I think that a lot of good will come of it, by giving people those Heroes they can latch onto to hopefully aspire to bigger and better things in business and their careers.

The school system, academia, is not geared toward grooming and molding entrepreneurs. It’s grooming you to hopefully find a skill, an area that you would think you would enjoy working within and basically take you down the path so you can become a good and effective employee.

I’ve been through university, dropped out of university, been to college, luckily made it through college. In terms of what I learned in college and university, I think one of my bosses early in life said it best. He said, “You go through grade school and then once you go through college/university, all it really becomes is an exercise in stress management.”

You look at business. There are constantly curve balls thrown at you. I don’t care if you are self employed or work for somebody else. You’ve got projects, deadlines; you’ve got things to do in an amount of time you think that can’t be done. You are juggling multiple projects. Companies are downsizing, they are outsourcing. You’ve got more stuff on your plate than ever before, and in many cases, you are making the same money, if not less than you were several years ago.

It too, is an exercise in stress management. I really think that getting essays in on time, your thesis, working on projects, presentations and studying every night that just really develops the foundation for you having the skills and the stress management skills to survive in the business world, but it is not teaching you how to survive as an entrepreneur.

In many cases, it’s totally doing the opposite. It’s grooming you to become a cog, a wheel in the machine, a spoke in the hub of an organization to do your role and that’s about it. It’s a totally different world when you basically cut the apron strings.

You cut the parachute off and you survive without a net as an entrepreneur, knowing that there is no paycheck, no benefits, there’s nothing, and obviously you have a gun to your head every day of the week because if you don’t produce, you don’t eat, you don’t pay the mortgage, you don’t pay the car payments and everything falls down like a house of cards.

I totally agree that the school systems have really not done anything to address this, to encourage it. It’s kind of a shame, because as I said, we all know that small business is really what fuels the economy. It fuels job growth, and that starts with entrepreneurs.

It’s developing that fertile soil in the school system and planting those seeds at such a young age. People who do venture off into entrepreneurialism are doing that by accident or stumbling on it by mistake, or they happen to aspire towards or have an influence in their life, but there are probably so many other people, if exposed to even Heroes early in their high school years, would maybe take a shining to some of the things you and I talked about and hopefully looking at being an entrepreneur as a “career choice,” just like being a doctor, nurse, fireman or firewoman, whatever it might be. It’s very important.

Ralph Zuranski Spent 15 Years Developing the In Search Of Heroes Program and Searched the World for the Secret Techniques That Make People Instant Heroes

Continuation of Ralph's Story About His Search for the Ingredients Necessary To Create Heroes

The results of the biorhythm studies in football and soccer were fascinating, but the problem in football was, even though a player had proven to be unstable on specific biorhythm critical days, you could not keep him out of the game. Rick McDonald explained that, "Even though you know a player is going to be unstable on game day, you still have to let them play because they earned the privilege during practice. Besides, the first string player is often a
better performer on his worst day than the second or third string player on their best day."

In 1983, Ralph was still searching for the magic bullet, the next most effective therapy that created miracles. He began to study the energy structure of the universe.

He had the opportunity to become “Research Director for Environmental Polarity Research.” Ralph read as many books as he could find on energetic medicine, electro-magnetism, and soft particle physics. He learned about the harmful effects of electromagnetic field radiation. Suddenly, he realized why the unshielded TV back when he worked for May Company had affected him adversely without him even knowing. Ralph discovered new research on muscle testing and experienced benefits from life field polarization and subtle energy medicine.

He discovered a totally radical; new, revolutionary perspective on health and the causes and elimination of disease. Energy medicine really made a difference in my health and energy levels.

Ralph realized parents needed to be informed about his discoveries so they could help themselves and their children be as healthy as possible. He started going to “National Health Federation” conventions and speaking from the stage about the harmful effects of man-made electromagnetic smog from power lines, transformers, computers, business machines and appliances. They needed to be educated about the beneficial effects of bioelectrical instruments and energetic medicine.

In 1983, Ralph got involved with biomedical computers that diagnosed imbalances in the body's energy meridians. He researched this technology and worked on patients. Ralph wrote and illustrated a procedural manual showing how to heal the body by working with acupuncture meridians, trigger points, hand and foot reflex points, and energy points in the ear. Twenty one years were spent working in clinics all over the world full time helping the sick and injured with energetic medicine. He even had the opportunity to run an alternative medicine clinic in Dallas for two years.

In 1992 Ralph volunteered his time to work as a writer and photographer for the “Coronado Eagle Newspaper”. His goal was to create a local “In Search Of Heroes Program” that would give high school journalism students the opportunity to discover, “Who are the real social heroes?”

Larry Wade, editor of the Eagle and Dean and Nancy Eckenroth, the owners, the Coronado Chamber of Commerce, Ron and Vicki Beaubien of the Rotary Club, Jason Bean and Steve McMahon America CableVision, Jim Laslavic Sports Director at KNSD TV and High School Principal Jeff Davis and teachers Dr. Margaret Wright, Kris McClung and Dianne Peruse provided all the elements necessary for a successful community program of this magnitude.
Students went to the “San Diego Comic Convention”, “Sea World”, “Magic Mountain” and “Disneyland” in search of heroes. The first heroes in training, David Ganong and Laura Neale even entered essays in the “Good Guys Comic Book Contest” to see if they would be chosen to be real-life heroes.

Laura Neale actually was one of the contest winners who became one of eight children whose lives were the model for the characters in the “Good Guys Comic.” Laura proved to be a real heroine when she showed up at the big kick off of the “Good Guys Comic Book” series at “Mile High Comic Store” in Los Angeles, in terrible pain, encased in an upper body cast. It was just days after her back was broken when the car she was riding in was hit by a drunk driver.

Laura suffered through 10 hours of surgery where surgeons implanted two steel rods on either side of her broken spine. She had to start walking the day after the surgery without pain medication to encourage the rebuilding of the bones in her spine. Laura knew the fans of her character “Flex” expected her to be a heroine, no matter the pain or personal sacrifice. Laura stepped up to the plate and was an amazing example of what true heroism really is.
Ralph continued developing the “In Search Of Heroes Program” and searching for ways to fund the program world-wide. In 2001, he realized the internet would provide the vehicle to spread “Good News” about the local heroes in every community world-wide.

Ralph started going to all the major internet conferences, searching for heroes and taking photographs of all the potential heroes he met. After a few events, he decided to follow in the footsteps of “Napoleon Hill” and “Earl Nightingale” and interview the most successful internet entrepreneurs, many of them millionaires.

Most of the heroes he interviewed said Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich” had contributed greatly to their financial success. Ralph rewrote the public domain copy of this amazing book so it appeals and relates to both boys and girls. Then he transformed the words into powerful mindmaps and superlearning PowerPoint videos to speed the assimilation of this valuable information. Andrew Carnegie, who commissioned Napoleon Hill to condense the key elements of success of the richest people in the early 1900s, believed that is young people were taught his principles while young, his wisdom would cut the required schooling time in half.

It has taken 6 years for software, computer technology and internet bandwidth to catch up with his dream of helping to make the world a better place by honoring and promoting all the unsung heroes like moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, coaches, spiritual leaders, students, business people…basically anyone who helps others. Internet video services like “Youtube”, “MySpace”, “GoogleVideo” “FaceBook” and all the other social networking sites now make the dissemination of the stories about heroes easy, inexpensive and definitely possible world wide.
Ralph purchased two newly released books, “Why Gender Matters, What Parents and Teachers Need To Know About The Emerging Science Of Sex Differences” by Leonard Sax, M.D., Ph.D. and “The Female Brain” by Louann Brizendine, M.D..

His Biorhythm research has finally come full circle, working with young tennis students, professional athletes, business professionals, alternative medicine doctors and finally dying parents. After almost 45 years of health and human awareness research, Ralph has discovered the seven most valuable elements of living a great life and having victory over all the incredible challenges we all face:

1. A relationship with God.
2. Developing a strong extended family life that involves genetic and step moms, dads grandparents, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and family friends.
3. Discovering the truth of how boys and girls are mentally, physically and biochemically different from birth.
4. Understanding Biorhythm Awareness
5. Achieving Biochemical and hormonal homeostasis
6. Pursuing Brain integration through recognizing and becoming friends with your non-dominant brain hemisphere hero, mindmapping and ambidexterity
7. Learning the teaching of Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich.”

Ralph is currently working on a BioAwareness Program that incorporates the five secret steps above for hospice workers, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have the courage and love to take of sick and dying relatives. As “Technical Director at Family Fitness Centers” in charge of Health Research, Ralph volunteered to become the "Holistic Health Guinea Pig," to use his own body as a testing ground for new therapies in the hope of finding effective and inexpensive ways to become healthier, more balanced and super-intelligent. Ralph realized the only solution for biorhythm instability in real life and professional athletes was optimal hormonal and biochemical homeostasis, emotional stability, extreme physical conditioning and intellectual fitness.

He found many therapies that were beneficial. Postural integration and Rolfing gave Ralph a new perspective on pain elimination and skeletal restructuring. Swedish and polarity massage was pleasurable, Homeopathy incredible, and colonics embarrassing.

Hair, blood, and sputum analyses showed extreme biochemical imbalances that were treated with vitamin and nutritional supplements. Chiropractic and spinal Stressology helped correct a broken and warped skeleton.
Brain integration through ambidexterity, mindmapping and drawing with both hands, Actualizations, EST and biofeedback caused a quantum leap in mental powers. Life Field Polarization neutralized the harmful effects of EMF (Electromagnetic Field Radiation).

Colon X-rays showed a spastic colon with severe bowel problems that was treated with colonics. Iridology uncovered more areas of weakness. The best holistic health practitioners in San Diego poked and prodded Ralph from both ends.

In 1981, Ralph was Technical Director of Family Fitness Centers and a fanatical “Soccer” and “Charger” fan. Captain Biorhythm decided to volunteer to work with Rick McDonald, the head trainer of the “San Diego Chargers” under Don Coryell and Eric Geyer, the head trainer, assistant coach and player of the “San Diego Soccers” under Ron Newman. He provided biorhythm performance predictions for each player for every game.

Ralph believed that Biorhythm Awareness could provide the missing link that would insure each team would win their premier championships. The goal was to identify the most balanced players who could be depended upon for optimal performance in the clutch situations.

The coaches definitely wanted to know who they could depend upon even when their biorhythms predicted poor performance. They valued the ultimate players who performed well even when they were injured, a fate most professional athletes experience as the season progresses.

Ralph also did biorhythm compatibility charts between each coach and trainer and every player on the team. The goal was to facilitate greater cohesion, team spirit and cooperation between the coaches, players and trainers.
The coaches and trainers evaluated each player’s performance during games on a scale from zero to ten. Ralph predicted how each player would perform according to their biorhythm energy potentials and past performance. It soon became obvious who were the clutch players…the ultimate balanced athletes.

Ralph had the unique opportunity to spend more time with the “Soccers.” They had much less funding and fewer athletes than the “Chargers”. They were grateful for any help that did not reduce their precious operating budget.
Ralph enjoyed teaching the players stretching programs, putting them on strength-conditioning programs at the Mission Valley “Family Fitness Center” and treating them with high-tech biomedical computers that minimized injuries, reduced pain and swelling and speeded healing by 50%.

The “Soccers” won the NASL and the MISL over two years, the equivalent of the Super Bowl in football both years. San Diego residents were very proud of the small group of players that made them proud in consecutive seasons. San Diego fans love a winner.

The Chargers also went to the division playoffs. They won their first game considered by experts as one of the greatest games ever played in the history of football. They battled the Miami Dolphins and grabbed a 24-0 lead. The Dolphins made an amazing come back and went ahead in the final minutes.

With time winding down, Dan Fouts engineered a drive of heroic proportions that tied the game at 38. In overtime, both teams had chances to win the game but Rolf Benirschke's 27-yard field goal with 1:08 left in the first OT gave the Chargers a 41-38 win. Unfortunately, a week later the Chargers lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 27-7 in the in the ice bowl where the wind chill dropped the temperature to a freezing 59 degrees below zero.

The World's Foremost Mentalist, Mind-reader and Motivator performed at James Malinchak's College Speaking Success Boot Cam. He expanded people's perception of reality and the powers of their minds. In this video, Robert actually told an individual how much money they had in their pocket. Robert promised audience members $100,000 cash if they could prove his performance and mind-reading skills are a fake or that he uses any paid stooges in the audience.

In 1981, as the Technical Director of Family Fitness Centers in Charge of Health Research, the "Holistic Health Guinea Pig", Ralph Zuranski and Captain Biorhythm, two different brain hemisphere personalities, worked together with the San Diego Chargers' and Soccers' trainers, coaches and players to help the local teams win as many games as possible. The goal was to help each team win their ultimate championships, the Super Bowl for the Chargers and the MISL and NASL for the Soccers.

The Soccers actually won the championship each year. The Chargers had one of their best seasons. Unfortunately, the Charger's Super Bowl hopes ended with the "Ice Bowl", one week after they participated in one of the greatest footballs games in history.

Through the use of biorhythms and compatibility charts, the most balanced athletes were identified and positioned to perform their best, especially in crucial situations. This was a incredible event. Some of the most successful women on the internet shared their copywriting, psychology and marketing secrets with the attendees. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and breaks were filled with delicious food, fine wine and awesome fellowship. It truly is amazing how much fun and how many intimate friendships women are capable of creating in a short period of time.

As one of the lucky males to attend this action-packed event, I learned a tremendous amount about marketing products to women. Being surrounded by so many powerful and successful women was an eye-openinng and mind-exspanding experience.

It was thrilling to again see all the women heroes I have selected to be a part of the In Search Of Heroes Program. I also had the unique opportunity to do a heroes interview on Jennie Armato, which was truly astounding. The emotional content of woman's perspective on life and being a hero truly talks directly to the heart of the matter. Her emotional transparency was very special and a great gift to everyone who listens to her interview. It will be available next week.

In part one of this ebay article series we introduced you to the importance of keeping a proper paperwork trail of everything pertaining to your ebay home business profits. We discussed how keeping detailed records of every area of your ebay home business was not only beneficial for tax purposes but at the same time it is the only way to seriously track and tweak your ebay home business for long term success.

Also in part one, we then closed the end of the ebay home business article by explaining the definitions of gross profit and gross profit margin. These two categories of incoming profits are important to help you understand what you are earning and which direction you want those earnings to go in.

Before you get bored again, let me remind you that I know you would rather be talking about selling and spending all of the millions you will make with your ebay home business! But trust me, these dry topics on paperwork, records, and taxes are exactly what you need to become an expert at in order to create long term stability with your ebay home business.

Ok, back to business. In today's article we are going to help you understand your tax responsibilities. If you were like me at the beginning of my ebay home business, then you probably can find any reason possible NOT to go through the trouble of keeping formal bookkeeping records of your ebay business. Unfortunately for us small business people, the IRS tax law overrules whatever reason we have to justify not keeping the books up do date for our ebay home business. The law states that you must keep very detailed records of your ebay income, your ebay expenses, your assets, and even your liabilities.

By keeping these ebay home business records accurately recorded, you will be enabled to properly report on your tax return every bit of income that comes in from that ebay home business. You will also then be able to claim any and all write-offs that are connected to your business.

And if you are one of those unlucky ones that are audited then you had better be prepared with detailed, complete, and truthful business records. You do not want to have missed important tax claims or filed inaccurate reports in the past because if an audit should happen then those negative actions could jeopardize your ebay home business.

Last but not least, we are going to leave you with understanding what financial type records that you will need to show to a bank if you are applying for a loan to help expand and grow your ebay home business. The first one is called a balance sheet. The second is called an income statement.

Income Statement: An income statement consists of a list of your assets, liabilities and what you have invested into your business. And by the way, any amount of funding that you "invested" into your ebay home business is called equity.

Income Statement: This statement is simply a list showing all of the income and all of the expenses of your ebay home business within a specified period of time. This "specified period of time" is usually quarterly or yearly, depending on how often you attend to your taxes.

You too can create your own superhero.

Why not inspire your children and family members to create their own superhero characters. Help them discover their own heroic potential in their own minds. When they can visualize their personal superhero, they can start manifesting their superhero's attributes of compassion, kindness, courage, morality, intelligence, honesty, integrity and self-sacrifice in real life.

When they find individuals they consider heroes, in their family or local community, they can really learn about heroic action by getting to know these amazing individuals. Young people are desperately seeking role models who are really making a positive difference in the lives of others, rather than just talking about it and doing nothing.

In the first issue of "Who Wants to Be a Superhero?," the use of a traitor and the Morality Test were brilliant plot twists. The use of Rotiart (Traitor spelled backwards) to secretly spy on the potential superheroes revealed that Levity planned to get rich off his superhero experience by selling personalized action figures. Greed was his primary motivation.

Creature was exposed as a woman who joined the superheroes to "meet hot guys in tights" according to Stan Lee. Iron Enforcer admitted he wants to kill people instead of save them. Now what is wrong with that picture?

Stan weighed their merits and faults, and Levity was eliminated. Because of his greed, he was denied entry to the lair...the first candidate to be eliminated. His unbridled lust for money and fame were his downfall.

The secret challenge of helping the young girl in distress, who had lost her mother, focused on a huge issue facing our society today. Many children world-wide are lost and hurting emotionally. Too many are victimized, ignored and unloved.

Many adults just don't hear the cries of young people who are in desperate need of help. So many children have been injured by divorce, drug abuse, sexual predators and self-centered parents. Adults are too often focused on their own glorification, gratification and justification.

Many believe in personal autonomy. They want to do whatever they want as long as it feels good to them.

The only sin is getting caught violating the laws of society. This seems to be the mantra of so many politicians, corporate executives and athletes. The end justifies using any means to get there. Winning is everything.

Stan's choice of the potential superheroes is "right on the money!" It is exciting to see that some of the superheroes did the right thing and stopped to help the lost child. These individuals showed true compassion and concern about the young girl in need and did something about it. The real superheroes are: Major Victory, Cell Phone Girl, Lemuria and Fat Momma. I would expect they will have an edge in the competition.

The superheroes that failed were: Creature, Ty'Veculus, Monkey Woman, Nitro G and Iron Enforcer. These characters seem to be so focused on themselves and their goals, that the child in need was not even recognized. It will be interesting to see if these characters learn compassion, courage to do the right thing, empathy for those who are suffering and self-sacrifice as the series unfolds.

There was little doubt that Nitro G was going to be eliminated. Two strikes and he was out!

Not only did Nitro G ignore the little girl in distress, but he also changed into his costume in public. Stan specifically instructed the superheroes to change in secret. That was a part of their test...to change into their costume unnoticed like Clark Kent transformed into Superman without anyone knowing.

Now how offensive and inconsiderate it that?

Who knows how many adults and young people Nitro G frightened and offended. His actions showed a level of total self-centerdness that is often found in young people, before they learn humility and compassion through tragic events in their lives.

What was Nitro G thinking...or was he?

Monkey Woman and Iron Enforcer were also asked defend their actions. Monkey Woman saw the girl but kept going. Iron Enforcer was rebuked by Stan for wanting to kill people and reminded that superheroes exist to help people. Their saving grace was that they took credit for their actions, apologized for their mistake and promised they would be more sensitive to others in need in the future.

The first episode has fulfilled all my hopes and dreams as a local social hero in San Diego for 30 years. I created Captain Biorhythm in 1976 in the skateboard industry to inspire young skaters to wear safety equipment, have a good attitude and use both sides of their brain hemispheres to become geniuses.

My desire to make a positive difference resulted in the "Pepsi Cola Safety Skateboard Program." As Technical Director, I had the opportunity to work with the top skateboarders, who pushed the limits of gravity in pools and pipes, to spread the message of honesty, integrity and courage to thousands of elementary and high school students in LA.

After creating the "In Search Of Heroes Program" in Coronado CA in 1973, I have had the privilege of interviewing over 35 heroes in the internet industry, military and charitable organizations. Thank you Stan Lee, Nash Entertainment and Dark Horse Comics for battling the forces of evil that exist in everyday society by shedding light into the darkness of what it truly means to be a superhero. You guys are my heroes! Keep up the good work!!!

The first day was amazing. It is so awesome to be a Special Features Writer for the Coronado Eagle Newspaper. As a reporter you have the opportunity to get into very interesting events FREE because you can provide the most valuable thing a business cannot buy...free good publicity.

Yes, you even get a few perks, like free food, great parking, and early entrance into events to get a good photographic position. You can stand up to take photos any time you want and wander anywhere. Almost everyone wants their fifteen minutes of fame and hope to see their name and photo in the media.

The pen is mightier than the sword. LEARN HOW TO WRITE WELL! Writing and copywriting are the two most powerful vehicles to fame and success.

The written word can change minds and hearts in a moment. Hopefully, people will begin to focus on the good things others do, rather than the bad. We desperately need more "Good News" world-wide with all the strife and wars breaking out.

Finally, the super heroes are getting the credit they deserve for inspiring people to become better individuals. The new DC Comics superhero stamps from the US Postal Service are a real boon to humanity. Mayor Sanders, joined Paul Levitz, the President and Publisher of DC comics, postal officials, David Glanzer from the San Diego Comic Con Public Relations, the comic artists and writers and other VIPs to unveil the new set of stamps. Speakers praised superheroes as great inspirations when they were young.

The world needs more inspiration in times of difficulty. Lets honor the heroes in every family and community to inspire everyone at a grassroots level.

The conventional media will focus on the bad, the bloody, the frightening and the evil events in our world to stimulate viewers who feel better when life is falling apart for others. It is time to stop this sickness...this focus on events that perpetuate fear and helplessness.

Stop filling your mind with death and destruction and strat focusing on hope and faith in a better future for everyone. Whatever people think about becomes their reality. Don't get trapped in the negative, hopless trap created by the media so they can manipulate you to buy their products to fill the emptiness in your life and minimize your fear.

There are a ton of good things happening at the Comic Convention. You just have to look for the good and get involved in the solution rather than perpetuating the problem.

Gregory Short from Sony Online Entertainment and Kevin Donovan, Sean Conley, Mark Politi from the "Comic Book Creator" company demonstrated their awesome comic book software that allows anyone to create a comic strip. You can use your own photos and awesome backgrounds from Marvel Comics, Sony games and downloadable graphics packages to create professional comic strips.

This is the software I have been searching for. It will help young people in every community tell the stories of the heroes in their community in an engaging and entertaining comic book form.

It is as easy as dragging and dropping photos and backgrounds and adding a few words into the comic word balloons. I will be using this software for the "Biorhythm Chronicles," a fictional story about growing up in the "Land Of OB" (Ocean Beach) beginning in 1949.

Check out the photos of the people brave enough to dress up as their heroes. It takes courage to wear the costume of your hero in a society that frowns on anyone who is different. For those who wore their costumes, I celebrate your courage to be different. You definitely have the self-confidence to be unique.

The most amazing part of the day was listening to Deepak Chopra, his son, and Grant Morrison when they talked about the seven spiritual aspects of the new breed of super heroes who will lead society to new levels of enlightenment.

I was shocked there are others who are encouraging individuals to develop their own heroes within. It is time for all heroes and heroines to "Rise up and make a positive difference in the world today!"

It was a truly glorious day. Captain Biorhythm was thrilled to find kindred spirits in Deepak and Grant. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing. Apathy is the killer of civilizations.

Here is a big "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!" to Deepak, his son, Grant and Larry Lieberman, the Chief Marketing Officer of "Virgin Comics." I salute you guys for using comics to help your readers develop their spiritual consciousness.

Tomorrow, I am going to show up as Captain Biorhythm in honor of the Comic Con's new focus on heroes in real life. The "Heroes" TV series from NBC chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they posses extraordinary abilities.

The new Sci Fi Channel Reality show, "Who Wants to Be A Super Hero" exposes unique individuals who feel they have super hero potential. Stan Lee should be a good judge of super hero character. This program has the potential for being extraordinarily inspiring or knee slappingly funny...probably both.

Tomorrow will be a great day. Captain Biorhythm has volunteered to let the blood suckers at the "San Diego Blood Bank" have a few pints of precious fluid to help others. His blood is so rare, few have it.

Obviously, he is a genetic mutant and might as well help keep his alien brothers and sisters alive. Let's hope they turn off the spigot before he is drained dry. No one wants be bleed out...even if it is for a charitable purpose.

Debra Schweiger Berg is an author, researcher, and public speaker. She holds both a B.A. in political science/economics and an M.P.A., (public administration) degree from the University of Illinois.

As an undergrad, she staffed the Watergate hearings in Washington, D.C. Post-college; Debra was one of the first women to serve on the staffs of the Illinois, Kentucky, and Minnesota state legislatures.

Ralph's Perspective On Social Heroes

Wow! Who would have imagined there were so many altruistic
individuals all over the world. They are sick and tired of
governments and charitable organizations trying to fix
problems that can be solved only by individuals in each
community working together.

These social heroes are taking the bull by the horns and
creating workable solutions to the problems facing their own
communities and countries. They realize that no amount of
personal wealth or material possessions will survive or can
be enjoyed if civilization crumbles.

What good is massive wealth if everyone else is poverty
stricken, deprived of the most basic needs of life and
desperate for community heroes that teach self-confidence,
self-worth, social and business skills and financial
independence rather than a lifetime of dependence.

People want to learn how to fish...not be given a fish every
day. They want to feel proud of earning their own way. Few
want to be dependent on the charity of others.

Historically governments and charitable organizations
dehumanize individuals by creating a lifelong dependence on
a weekly or monthly handout. Even with the best of
intentions, governments and organizations are incompetent
because of basic human nature. People seek to serve self,
protect their own turf and have their one way. It is
virtually impossible to understand or fix a social problem
from Washington, DC.

It is time we recognize, support and encourage everyone with
a dream to make a positive difference in their own world who
take action. There are so many social heroes who are ignored
by the conventional press mentality "If it bleeds or creates
fear and dependence on the government, it leads."

Author and researcher Debra Berg, in the book "The Power Of
One" publicizes the everyday unsung heroes who are rescuing
America's cities with little or no financial assistance from
the government. They are ignored by the media who promote
socialism and communism as the answer to all of life's

CREATE THE PROBLEM OR ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE PROBLEM!

Politicians are happy to tax the citizens into oblivion with
the false promise of solutions to all of life's problems.

It is only when we as individuals step up to the plate and
take responsibility for our lives and those in our families,
our civilization as we know it will continue to
disintegrate.

I recently interviewed Debra Berg. It is amazing and very
informative. You can hear her interview on the In Search Of
Heroes website and blog. Her website is www.powerone.org.

Debra kindly agreed to interview her social heroes by asking
them the In Search Of Heroes questions. This will
demonstrate the type of people they have become. It will
provide an entire new insight into these altruistic
individuals who personally sacrifice their time, money and
effort to help others.

They experience great joy because they are making the world
a better place, one person at a time. They are doing
something constructive and positive because they are
frustrated with government programs that don't work and only
create more problems.

If anyone knows individuals who are social heroes, that are
working in their community, that deserve recognition, please
inspire us all by writing a little story about them. Include
how we can help support them in their personal quest to make
the world a better place.

How a Little Plastic Card Brings a Local Pizza Shop All the Business that they Can Handle

A couple weeks ago my family and I took a short trip over to San Antonio.

We got in real late at night.

When I checked in the hotel clerk gave me my room card.

I noticed that the room card had an advertisement on one side for a local Domino's pizza business.

Both my wife and I were really hungry so I decided to call up for some pizza.

Instead of having them deliver it to us I told the guy on the phone that I would come pick it up.

Again, I was super hungry.

So while I was picking up our pizza I asked the manager how they managed to get their advertisement on the billboard side of my hotel room key.

He said it was easy.

He simply called up the company that produced the cards and told them that he managed a Dominos pizza joint and he wanted to advertise on hotel room key cards at local hotels in his area.

And within a week or two, the company called him back up with advertising deals with two local hotels.

Eureka!

Here's what the hotel room key card looks like...

After probing a little more he told me he makes a 20 - 1 investment on this advertising venture.

He gets the majority of his nightly orders from these two hotels. "Awesome!"

"I Asked Him What Company He Called Up that Got Him the Advertising Deals So Fast..."

He said, "Look on the back of your card really closely."

That's the company.

So when I got back home I visited the site.

What PLI does is get advertisers and then has someone call the local hotels and ask them if they'd like to get their room keys for free.

Domino's pays the hotel advertising costs, which essentially pays for the hotel room keys.

It's a win - win - win for everyone.

The hotel gets free room keys.

Dominos gets excellent advertising (Travelers ALWAYS look at their room keys multiple times a day.)

And PLI gets more room key orders.

Think, Think, Think. How You Can Make This Work for Your Business?

Think about this referral system.

Business 1 advertises on Business 2's widget that they give to their customers who are also Business 1's ideal prospect.

Business 2 gets the widget for free in exchange for letting Business 1 advertise on it.

Think about how this can work for your business.

Do know of any complimentary businesses that give (or sell) low cost items or consumables to their customers.

If so, approach them for an advertising sponsorship.

If you just sat down and thought about this referral strategy for a moment I think you'll be amazed at what you can come up with.

I personally can think of a hundred ways I could make this referral strategy work for my business.

The Big Seminar was another great event by Armand Morin and Alex Mandossian. Click Here to see the photos from the event.

The speakers were awesome. Stephen Pierce had everyone play the "Brain Game." This was lots of fun and helped everyone determine their greatest strengths. Stephen also talked about the, " 7 Steps to Creating Information Products Online."

Stephanie Frank taught everyone, "Solving The Marketing Mystery: How To Build an Instant Internet Marketing Plan."

Martin Wales enlightened everyone about the "Business Automation Secrets" that focused on 1ShoppingCart.com's outstanding features, support and cost effectiveness.

Jim Edwards was awesome in his presentation, "Are Ebooks Dead?" He is one of the best speakers and entertainers on the internet marketing circuit. Jim always knows how to make the audience laugh. He provides great information that is truly on the money. Ebooks are the best way for new people on the internet to make money and learn the ropes.

John Carlton, a famous copywriter, impressed the audience with, "Operation Money Suck-Style Copywriting." His techniques and copywriting strategies are impressive. He really believes in shocking your copywriting audience. You need to get their attention and entertain them. If your copywriting lifts them out of their "quiet lives of desperation" you have done your job and they will embrace your message, take action and buy your products and services.

Derek Gehl gave an outstanding presentation on marketing with email, newsletters and membership sites in his "How To Make Money On the Internet. Derek worked will Corey Rudl who recently died in a tragic auto accident .

Michel Fortin and Sylvie Charrier shared their cutting edge marketing secrets that allows them to generate massive amounts of money through Google Adsense and other pay-per-click services. The secrets they shared in "How to Turn Trash Into Treasure" was nothing short of astounding.

Joe Polish again wowed the audience with his Piranha Marketing presentation, "Offline Robotic Marketing For Online Marketers." With each presentation Joe is funnier and more educational. He gets my vote for the most improved presenter with the best message that puts real money into your pocket. If you want to dominate your industry, you need to learn his Piranha Marketing Secrets. There is no other marketing program I know of after attending marketing conferences for 3 years that holds a candle to what Joe has discovered over 12 years of trial and error.

Alex Mandossian, again provide a fine presentation. He is perhaps one of the greatest speakers and presenters on the internet circuit. His presentations are always filled with great information, hands on applications and inspiration. His "Inner Circle Marketing Secrets" was a great introduction to the importance of creating your own master mind group.

Dave Lakhani talked about "Persuasive Public Relations. Kirt Christensen explained "How to Exploit a Little Known Secret about Search Engines & Make a Fortune Online with Google Adsense."

Rich Schefren discussed "Business Building Secrets of the Most Successful Online Marketers: What They Know That Almost Everyone Does Not."

Armand Morin shared "Exponential Internet High-Growth Strategies To Create, Run and Explode Online Business." As usual, Armand shared great information in a way it was easy for people to understand. His combination of useful information, self-deprecation and humor kept attendees on the edge of their seats.

The food again was the best of any seminar I have attended. The Awards Banquet was a blast. Everyone had the opportunity to play poker and win lots of prizes. Armand gave away over $100,000 worth of prizes over during the seminar. I even won one of the 20 laptop computers given away through the Awards Banquet drawing. Needless to say, I was completely stoked (a slang word from my 25 years of surfing from 1967-1987). All I have to say is Cowabunga!
