What Does It All Mean When Death Of A Father Rocks Your World?
Well, now that my dad is gone, "What now?"
After spending 3 years taking care of my mom and 4 years taking care of my dad 24-7, there is a big hole in my life. Getting up a couple times a night to change diapers, get water, adjust night clothing, pray with them to help them overcome nightmares, dealing with no sense of time or what day it was, etc. was a daily challenge...no sleep, emotional angst, constant depression.
Now what do I do with this new sense of freedom?
Bittersweet is the only word that can describe this experience. I loved my mom and dad and sacrificed my life for 4 years, but they sacrificed their lives for 59 years for me. Their kindness, compassion and financial investment exceeds mine by 12 times.
I miss them greatly. There is no greater supporter than a mom or dad who loves you.
I am so thankful their suffering is ended, but how do I fill the void that has dominated my life for four long years. You Babyboomers who have gone through the same experience or are going through a similar situation now, know what I am talking about.
I never could have made it without my right brain hero personality Captain Biorhythm.
He really came through during the most difficult times...encouraging me when there was no hope, calming me during the times of great FEAR that appeared during all the near death events and trips to the emergency ward, helping me make the decisions to keep them alive when it would have been easier to let them die and providing joy when sorrow oppressed me like a soaking blanket.
Understanding the ups and downs of biorhythms really helped me with my own daily attitude adjustments. Also, by tracking the biorhythms of everyone in the family, it was much easier to help others deal with the gravity of each catastrophic event and the sorrow of the many mini-crises. Biorhythms was particularly valuable in determining the course of therapy and intelligent drug administrations.
I am sure other Babyboomers will be benefited by discovering their own hero within to help them go through what I have just experienced. I feel it is time to call Captain Biorhythm back out of retirement to help the people of my generation that are being crushed by dying parents on one side and returning children and grandchildren with lives that have failed for a multitude of reasons.
The heroes interviews I have done over the last 16 years have taught me so much. Having heroes share their answers to the heroes questions has helped more than you can imagine. Because of their wisdom and willingness to share it has helped me understand how to be a hero on a daily basis...most of the time (-:
After all, you are a hero some of the time, but not always.
It is a true journey. Few realize the steps along the pathway or understand where they are on their own heroes' journey. One book really helped me understand my life since I created Captain Biorhythm 1976 to inspire skateboarders to wear safety equipment and learn biorhythms to cut down on accidents and injuries and optimize their performance.
What a long strange journey it has been!!!!!!
The heroes journey described by Joseph Campbell in his book "Hero With A Thousand Faces" has encouraged me to realize that life is a journey where we play many roles during our lifetimes: hero, villain, mentor, jester, fool, shadow, antagonist, protagonist, herald, threshold guardian and the shapeshifter. By understanding the heroes journey, it is helpful to know where you are at. It is my hope that Babyboomers decide to take their own heroes journey and take their kids and grandkids with them as they all discover together their own heroes within.
I recently had the opportunity to appear in full costume at three internet marketing conferences as Captain Biorhythm: "Dan Kennedy-Bill Glazer Super Conference", "Rhea Perry's Home Schooler's Real Estate Conference" and "Frank Kern's Mass Control Seminar." I have to say my costume was the most outrageous because I designed it to be a 30 second test of whether individuals were right or left brain dominant and whether there was any communication between the two brain hemispheres.
Many of the people I tested volunteered to be part of my army of testers who show others the secrets of instantly balancing their brain hemispheres to be a sudden genius, how to balance others with the secret Captain Biorhythm handshake and how to give others the ultimate energy balancing hug (something I learned from my dad. He loved to give others energy balancing hug.)
I have a special place in my heart for Frank Kern who through his Mass Control marketing system, brought a tremendous amount of publicity to the heroes journey: the "hometown boy or girl makes good", "us versus them" and "the reluctant hero or heroine returns to society to share their magic powers and the wisdom they gained on their heroes journey."
Below I have included an explanation of the heroes journey, using Frank's life as a example of the different stages we all go through. This is a compilation of my posts on the Warrior's Forum and individuals responses to my question, "Is Frank Kern Insane, on Drugs or a Genius?" I hope you enjoy it and are courageous to take your heroes journey or at least discover where you are at on your own unique pathway.
====================================================================
To help you understand if others think Frank is insane, on drugs or a true marketing genius, you can read my posts on the Warrior's Forum as Warriors discussed this outrageous question. I don't have permission to include the Warriors names and emails so I will just call them "Enlightened Warrior."
Is Frank Kern INSANE, ON DRUGS or a true marketing GENIUS?
At Rich Schefren's recent Strategic Profits, Main Event Seminar, February 22-29th, 2008, Frank radically expanded the minds of the attendees, exploded their mental horizons. His long hair surfer dude persona, underachiever mentality and mass control philosophy freaked out many.
When Frank forced them to question their entire life perspective, needless to say, many people became emotionally agitated, psychologically threatened.
Was Frank just messing with their minds...manipulating their reality to sell them something? Or did he really believe in the value of what he was saying?
Was Frank just making a point on how people are like Pavlov's dogs, salivating at the sound of a bell, or was this a truly transformational moment for everyone who experienced the tsunami of feelings.
Truly, it was almost like watching a batch of slimy, hermaphroditic earthworms, writhing in agony after being thrown onto the red hot, sizzling surface of a frying pan, scorched by a pulsating, blue gas flame.
As I watched the video again and again, I couldn't believe my eyes.
The attendees reminded me of agitated, fidgeting puppets...jerked around by invisible strings controlled by a cruel, evil, manipulative and unseen demented puppet master. Many continually shifted in their seats, trying desperately to find a safe harbor of personal reality, to escape the frightening truths revealed by Frank that threatened the very core of their existence.
You could hear a audible gasp and feel the extreme tension of steel springs pulled straight by an incredibly powerful force when Frank told them that $1 million cash in the bank, a huge mansion, expensive cars, and the freedom to do whatever you want left him feeling empty, anxious and angry.
What in the world was Frank talking about? Had he suddenly gone insane? Was this the result of too many mind-altering drugs, excessive partying, oxygen-depriving, mind-numbing surfing wipe-outs or a gradual, long, drawn out process...the pathway to mental derangement?
Many were amazed...astounded when Frank said, "The world lied to me. Wealth, financial freedom and material possessions do not bring happiness."
When Frank started to talk about PERSONAL SIGNIFICANCE, you could hear a pin drop.
Personal significance? What in the HELL is that anyway?
If money, material possessions and power are not the most important things in life, then what is?
Frank explained in a hushed voice, "Personal significance is doing the things that really matter on a daily basis. Spending time with family and friends, and doing what you love daily is the pathway to happiness and fulfillment. Working with people you know, love and trust, who feel the same way about you, should be the goal of every person."
What do you think? Is Frank Kern insane, a mass control manipulative monster, a drugged-out surfing, skateboarding hippy weirdo throwback to the 60s or a true visionary and Pied Piper to a new emotionally fulfilling reality?
What is your perfect 24 hour day that well bring you peace, happiness, fulfillment and joy that you would live every day for the rest of your life?

I attended the conference in Orlando and can say that the room was the fullest during Frank's talk. The room was a buzz because Frank simply reminded people to be authentic and everything else will follow.
I was excited to see so many people wanted to find their core.
That is one of my companies main focus. I never suspected there was a market in IM for such programs as mine. I am now adding a marketing component and will be releasing it in May.
Remember the secret is took look inside for happiness.
I would not be surprised if a Frank develops a new product to promote this concept.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frank definitely can speak from experience. Not many Internet marketers have lost everything because of being sued by the government and losing everything, let alone the fear of have the all powerful government, trying to destroy your life and family.
Frank experienced the fear of loss and rejection big time and still did not give up. He has been one of the Internet heroes I wanted to interview for so many years but was not able because of doing 24-7 care for both my parents for the last 3 years.
You can tell a lot about a person by what they do at the lowest point in their lives. After interviewing so many of the most successful Internet marketers, one of my great epiphanies is that so many of them have achieved personal significance without achieving ultimate wealth.

Ummm ... duh.
Still, it is better to find that out than to not, and spend your whole life thinking that you could have been happy if only you had those things.
What is it with people who above the 38th parallel?
You know the hardest thing about being smart? I always pretty much know what's gonna happen next. There's no suspense.

After traveling around the world a bit, I discovered the best place to live in the world is determined by the people around you. A great physical location with horrible people sucks; a prison with great people is wonderful.
Well, that was kind of my point, but yours is well taken as well. Even war is considered by some to be the time of their life because of the people they went through it with.
I just find that 300 days of sunshine, a thousand miles of perfect white beaches, and cheap, abundant food and beer tends to change your prioritization in life somewhat to those who live in colder climes. Not always, but as a generalization.
Where I live, people want money mostly for traveling overseas to see interesting stuff (although there is no shortage of those who like expensive cars and houses as well).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't get me wrong! Money is good and especially the things you can buy and do with it. Most of us would not mind have a few extra hundred thousand in our bank accounts. (-:
However, when anyone suddenly has the epiphany that money and material possessions are not the most important things in life, it is a time to rejoice. Besides that means there is one less rich jerk in the world! (-:
The big question is that now that a person has become enlightened, WHATS NEXT! Do they have the courage to change their lives? Are they willing deal with the fear of loss and graciously receive the abuse of those in their immediate circle, like spouses, children, relatives, who love money, wealth, the latest electronic gadgets, new exotic cars, big houses and awesome vacations.
I respect Frank that once he realized the important things in life, he immediately dumped the businesses that were making him tons of money but he hated, that he did not enjoy working with, because they did not match his new paradigm.
That either takes a lot of balls or is completely stupid, depending on your perspective.
I guess the hardest thing in life is to be happy without already having the blessing of wealth and financial freedom. For those of us who can not write a million dollar check, don't drive BMWs, Porches, Lexus, Mercedes, etc, have good sized balances on our credit cards and endure lives that do not match our dream day, the challenge is to have faith in our dreams, accept our present reality and then persevere in our efforts to create the life we want.

The Internet is the ultimate meritocracy it doesn't care who you are or where you've come from.If you have something worthwhile to say and something of value to offer the net will reward you . If you don't, it won't. Frank Kern has much to say which is worthwhile and plenty of value to offer which is why he is rewarded.
Opportunities multiply as they are seized.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
That is so true. Over the last five years taking photos at the Internet marketing conferences, listening to speakers and watching what they do, it is amazing to watch what has happened to many of "so called" Internet gurus.
Those who consistently provide valuable products, services and content and over-deliver continue to prosper. Those who ripped off their customers with rehashed or bogus content, were only a flash in the pan. They had their 15 seconds of fame then ended up on the trash heap of history along with all the others who thought they could get rich at the expense of their clients.
The industry is way too small at the highest levels where there are few secrets and unknown entities. Few newcomers instantly gain recognition and get rich overnight without massive amounts of investment of time and money. Most of those who are successful have put in their dues through sweat equity or cash money to pay others to do the work.
Nothing FREE is worth anything unless it has inherent value as a part of a strategic marketing plan similar to Frank's where you give outrageous value first and then because of the feelings of reciprocity, customers are happy to invest their hard earned money and become raving fans and future consumers of any new products or services that come down the pipeline

A marketing genius, but otherwise none of the above.
Frank is just merely riding the current wave of unfolding higher consciousness which dictates that true satisfaction has nothing to do with any of the values that society prizes like...wealth, beauty, youth, and intelligence.
But, do keep in mind that Frank rides his wave with pockets stuffed with CA$H which allows him to live his "personal significance" life.
This post is just gives him that much more creed that his talents go beyond marketing and into the heart of understanding how people are really supposed to live. So, way to go Frank!

Frank is definitely not a madman...he has gained enlightenment from past trials and disappointment of shattered stereotypes. Despite his normally casual, fun, even sarcastic persona, he has tapped into some profound understandings of life and our existence. All the fancy things in life aren't what brings happiness, although they can certainly enhance it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enlightened Warrior
It seems to me that this affair shows one thing: Wealth, financial freedom and material possessions ALONE do not bring happiness.
Otherwise all the winners at the lottery, rich stars etc. would have to be the happiest people in the world. But take a look at the press to see: Nope. At least not all of them. Lots of stories about that.
It seems that having a lot of money can even be negative for someone who is not balanced. Oftentimes we pursue to fill an inner need or emptiness with that stuff. That can hardly work. But since people mostly have a hard time identifying their real needs and not fall for what society, media, PR etc advocate they just go for that stuff.
Now one mistake is to say money, possessions etc are bad. Oh no not at all. They are just as neutral as a brick or a knife. Their (moral and other) value lie in what we do with them - like - create something/hurt someone.
It seems that money and things cannot make anyone happy. At best they give a happy feeling for a while. A person who is balanced, however, can enjoy these things - without really needing them to be happy.
Sure, if someone is severely in debt, having lots of financial trouble and the like money can seem to be the solution. But then one apparently gets out of that fix easier being in a balanced, centered state.
Being stressed out about anything means adrenalin rushing through your body. Adrenalin blocks brain cell communication (ever been in a exam and forgotten what you learned - thats adrenalin at work). So stress/adrenalin makes us dumb. We cannot think as clearly and our decisions aren't the best. Consequently it is not easy to solve the problem.
And BTW fear is probably the greatest stressor of all.
But money does not take fear away. I read somewhere that Paul Ghetty was afraid to loose his enormous wealth most of the time.
So, while I don't know what Frank Kern is all about I still think he has a point.
Get balanced (I do not use "enlightened"; seems a very big word for me; but since I am not a native English speaker I might be wrong). That's a much better chance to enjoy the money you make.

Thank you for your posts about Frank and his philosophy on life, wealth and personal significance. My guess is: If someone attracts such people when they lack cash, they will attract even more of them when the do have the cash.
I think living a rich and happy life takes some self-development. Get rid of emotional "waste deposits" - the old stuff like unresolved anger, fear, resentment, etc. Take a look at EmoTrance or EFT for example. Both modalities have proven themselves helpful to thousands of people.

One quote that comes to mind when I read this thread is, "Having more money makes you more of what you already are."
So, if you are a nice guy, having more money makes you a nicer guy. If you are a miserable guy, more money will make you a more miserable guy. If you are a happy guy...
Maybe having more money makes you more aware of your "core" because it becomes magnified and more visible?
Maybe the idea is that you should probably be happy & nice before you get too much money, so that when you get more, you are more happy & nice.
I'm sure Frank is a super happy & nice guy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you do about people in your family and life that you are helping achieve a better experience of life?
With total financial independence comes a certain degree of personal responsibility to share the wealth. A big dilemma is, "Should you continue to help support those who can not or will not provide for themselves? Where is the cutoff point? When do you throw them under the wheels of the bus or do you?"
These flawed individuals, as we all are to a certain degree, may be relatives through our marriage or even in our own genetic family. They bring negativity, feelings of victimization and a concept of entitlement into complex relationships that are not easily dissolved legally.
Just how far do you go to get these negative people in our life OUT?
Where does compassion and empathy come into play? What happens when you realize that the social, financial, spiritual and emotional consequences of eliminating negative, energy sucking people from your life can be traumatic to everyone involved?
Frank was brave enough to do that with a couple of his businesses that were making a lot of money, but what happens when those changes involve parents, a spouse, kids, grandkids, business partners? Where is the balance between self-sacrifice and self-preservation and enlightenment?

Interesting question.
Do you think there can be anything but a very individual answer to that, even one that may change from day to day, situation to situation?
It reminds me of what ethics (that is the philosophy of moral thinking) tried for centuries and has failed - and could not but fail: find a moral/ethical system that is as clear and logical like maths or geometry.
It can never be. All the relevant decisions are based on value judgements. And there is a frontier to reasoning about those. At some fundamental point here is always an arbitrary decision that different people or cultures may make differently. Same thing when it comes to justice. Any position/decision one may take can be debated.
So you will always have to make decisions. Maybe even more when you have a lot of money. That includes the decision: which are "the things that really matter on a daily basis."
The decisions will somewhat or radically differ from person to person.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great answer. Life is subjective! When you take into consideration the spiritual or karmic consequences of subjective moral decisions, it opens a whole new can of worms. Do the human moral and ethical standards discovered by Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale apply in this situation or not?
Captain Biorhythm
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enlightened Warrior
Well Ralph, a lot of people would certainly debate the concept of karmic consequences. And it seems hardly possible to "prove" any of the positions to that. If, on top of that, you take the - not so rare - hypothesis that this entire plane of existence "is" an illusion, then even karmic consequences would be just that. And didn't the Buddha (after having lived through rich and poor) escape the wheel of reincarnations...?
I myself am somewhat undecided on this issue.
Now, "Do the human moral and ethical standards discovered by Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale apply in this situation or not?" Wouldn't it be nice if there were an authority that could *really* guarantee: "Yep, that's it. live by these rules and you're safe."
Religions (or at least some religious leaders and their followers) and cults tend to prey on that desire to have the one undoubtable source of truth. Thing is: I see lots of them. And thus lots of truths.
If we look into epistemology (the philosophy/theory of what we can know and learn) a good many of their heads (or rather their theories) will tell us that we can never perceive the world the way that it is ((IF it is at all and not just illusion anyway)), but that our systems of perception and cognition shape and even construct "reality". Thus: no truth.
Let's just take a look at the auditory sense. We hear vibrations of certain frequencies. We have found out that other frequencies above and below that spectrum do exist, but our sense of hearing has no idea of that. Thus we only "have" a partial truth about the world. Same thing with all other senses.
And then morals/ethics (as well as concepts like justice) are outside of the world of objects. They are ideas, concepts, beliefs. The result of thoughts an decisions. Often times fueled by strong emotions.
I stick to my opinion, that we have to choose. Every individual must choose: Which are the standards that I follow? This is, I think, part of our existence. And: having a choice is having power.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
After following Frank's marketing pathway for the last 5 years, I find it interesting that he has achieved his current perspective on what matters in life.
With his success in marketing, using the heroes journey combined with the power of reciprocity as his marketing model, starting with the "Hometown Boy Makes Good", "Us versus Them" and finally the "Reluctant Hero", Frank appears to be nearing the end of his "Heroes Journey" as defined by Joseph Campbell in his book "The Hero With A Thousand Faces."
Now that Frank is bringing back to the world the transcendent values he has discovered, the questions arise:
1. "Are Internet marketers ready to help spread the knowledge of the value and desirability of the heroes journey?
2. Are they willing to help teach others how to experience true meaning in their lives irrespective of the amount of income or personal wealth?"
The commitment to pursue meaning and personal significance in a transformed life is vastly more challenging than accumulating material possessions and money and gaining power over others.
Are there like-minded individuals who are willing to support Frank as he brings this unique message of enlightenment to a world that is not much interested in even attempting to pursue "heroes journey?" More importantly, how many are inspired enough by Frank's willingness to expose his inner self to make the journey with Frank to the ultimate levels of personal significance?

Frank Kern is a genius and someone I really admire. He is willing to admit his mistakes and make changes in his life to follow the direction he believes is best for his own personal happiness and that of his family.
Most people seem to be locked into untenable situations where they cannot mover forward or back. Their family and friends and business associates don't want them to change because that would call into question the choices they have made and the personal significance of their current lives.
After studying Frank's Mass Control System for over a month, I am astounded at Frank's ability to capture in words the struggles all of us go through. It is refreshing to see someone who is willing to follow their feelings and convictions.
He is a breath of fresh air. I am so sick and tired of politicians and business leaders saying one thing and doing another, creating strife and division for their own personal gain. Personal conduct does matter? Dishonest and covert activities do affect your business life...no matter what those who have been caught doing wrong say.
Young people need good role models who are honest, courageous and have personal integrity...where words match actions.
Frank's marketing strategy that includes the "Reluctant Hero", "Boy or Girl Makes Good" and "Us Versus Them" is the best model I have seen to inspire young people to want to be heroes and discover their own hero or heroine within their own minds.
The goal of the heroes program has always been to help students learn how to sell their ideas and products to make money for themselves, family and community through copywriting and the sale of digital products.
Now that many families are experiencing financial challenges because of the increases in the cost of living, including gas, education and basic necessities, NOW, more than ever, the entire family needs to work together to generate income and pool their resources. Working together, they can create the life of their dreams.
The Internet is a perfect vehicle for the family to work together to generate much needed income.
After interviewing so many successful Internet marketers and business leaders, I had an epiphany recently, after reading Frank's Mass Control Marketing Materials and watching his videos.
Two of my economic Heroes, who like Frank, were sued by greedy and corrupt government officials, opened my eyes to how the world really works.
They speak from personal experience. Their $350,000,000.00 company was severely damaged by the government's unbridled efforts to steal the money, destroy their company and slander their good names.
These economic heroes, for over 33 years, taught doctors, business executives and individuals how to legally:
1. Pay only their fair share of taxes
2. Protect their assets from greedy, litigious criminals
3. Create foundations to permanently endow their family members
4. Set up fully endowed, self-directed, non-profit foundations to perpetuate the social and spiritual values they felt were important...while they were still alive.
After fighting the governmental forces, with its unlimited resources and army of brain-washed foot soldiers, for many years to a standstill, they finally proved their innocence and the righteousness of their cause.
But at what cost...the crippling of their business, loss of income and the emotional pain and distress caused by the disintegration of their personal and business relationships. Few of their friends or business associates could afford to stand with them against the unbridled threats of prosecution and unmitigated slander of their good names by out-of-control governmental officials.
Still, like Frank Kern, they refused to give up on their own dreams. They are working hard to do what they love, restore their good names and replenish their depleted bank accounts.
They are using this financial, social and emotional catastrophe to motivate them to achieve even greater levels of success. It seems like catastrophic events in our lives, similar to Frank's loss of everything to a flood and government officials' confiscation of his material possessions, assets and bank accounts, are the catalyst to great things.
Sometimes it is darkest before the dawn. Many people quit inches from incredible success. Perseverance appears to be one of the most powerful vehicles for success.
My two financial mentors, who lost much more than Frank over a number of years battling continual, slanderous lawsuits by governmental attorneys and corrupt lackeys, told me there is no satisfaction in witnessing the fall from grace of those that unjustly persecuted them. There is no consolation when the public officials, at the highest levels of government, that abused their power and betrayed the confidence of those who voted them into office, lost their jobs. There is no joy when government employees descend into the ignominy of "Disgraced Public Official HELL!"
Frank and all the other male and female heroes I have had the privilege of interviewing are a source of real inspiration to me and many others. They shared the lowest moments of their lives and how they were victorious over these challenges. It is a testament to the indomitable human spirit that they still continue to teach others how to be successful.
An integral part of the "In Search Of Heroes Program" has always been to find the most brilliant marketers and financial experts to teach young people how to make money and legitimately save as much money as possible by paying the exact amount of taxes required by law.
Once they learn how to make tons of money and protect their assets from people who make a living stealing the hard earned assets of others and set up endowed, fully-funded foundations to permanently provide for their families and perpetuate their beliefs, they will be able to change their lives and communities...permanently for good.
My mentors told me the "Dirty Little Secret" in strict confidence, "The only way to create social change is to first make a lot of money. Then, give the politicians and government officials some of it so they will want to protect your pile of cash and implement legislation that will create the social changes you desire."
"Nothing happens until you have the financial resources to pay others who are only interested in wealth and power to implement social change and protect you from the opposing forces who want to steal your money for themselves. Why do you think politicians spend millions of dollars to get a job that pays $50,000 to $200,000 a year?"
After working on the "In Search Of Heroes Program" for 16 years, I am again firmly convicted that students and families need to make money so they can pay for food, clothing, shelter and transportation, education and health care before they can implement local social changes. They need financial resources to fund local projects that are desperate for funding.
It is time to end the begging, hopeful, and watchful waiting for money from the government and philanthropic organizations. It is time for real social heroes, that are forging the destiny of their own lives, families and communities to have the financial resources to help themselves and others in their community.
When everyone works together to generate desperately needed income that can be used intelligently by those intimately familiar with local problems and needs, everyone benefits.
Frank, thanks for the inspiration and sharing the Mass Control Marketing System and the concept of reciprocity. It will definitely help young people crush their competitors in their local markets. By telling stories we can all relate to and be inspired by, they will have the power to touch hearts and open willing wallets.

This is a fascinating thread - that I would like to add to if I may...
I too took mass control, and have watched Frank over the years. I watched the video of his 'enlightenment' talk in Orlando.
This is a subject near and dear to my heart as I wrote a book five years ago called BeDoHave Find Happiness Now.
Money will not make you happy any more than the things it brings will. Happiness is an inside job and always will be.
But having said that - I also believe the statement "Money makes you more of what you already are." So if you can handle the challenges that come with the money -(and there are challenges I promise) and you are already happy - then VOILA more happiness!
But if you are jerk...
Or a drunk...
Or abusive...
You will be a bigger one!
And I have to tell you I got all excited when I saw the video because we are launching a membership site to help people find happiness -as corny as it sounds.
And how cool would it be if Frank helped?
Appreciate the thread..

The more I read Frank's Mass Control materials and watch his videos, I am beginning to see there is a huge potential for using this information for good or evil purposes.
Now that Frank has identified the subliminal sales process that unconsciously controls customer's thoughts and reactions, what responsibility do Mass Control Masters have to use this secret information ethically?
Is Frank creating a universe of potential evil geniuses by spilling the beans on how to control human thought?
A multi-million dollar study of the unconscious techniques of the very best sales people at Stanford University showed, people are like Pavlov's Dogs. They respond to specific stimuli universally.
The book "Agent Of Change" was so controversial, it was never published. It confirms what Frank intuits. It specifies the exact words and mechanisms, all the way to hand gestures and facial features, that cause customers to buy 90% of the time.
I am trying to get the Doctor who funded the study and wrote the book to let me make it available to the Internet community along with the book, "The Greatest American Hero Nobody Knows About."

As I am studying Frank's Mass Control, Under Achievers, conversations with John Reese, Jeff Walker, Mike Koenigs, Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Howie Schwartz, Yanik Silver and all the others, there is a heroes pattern that is emerging.
After going to many of the Internet marketing conferences and taking photos over the last 5 years, it is amazing to see that many of the individuals I recognized as heroes are dominating in the market with mega-million launches.
My choice of heroes was dependent on how they responded to the attendees, staff, seminar promoter and the other speakers. You could immediately tell who were the real heroes who were interested in getting people to know, love and trust them.
The dishonest, evil, egomaniacs and villains were rude, short and disrespected everyone that did not have the money to buy their over-priced products or services. They were particularly short and abusive to the staff who were working their butts off to help make them appear to be stars.
The real heroes are the ones who care about their customers and are always over-delivering. They understand the value of reciprocity and treating customers like the quality human beings they are, rather than brainless-deep-pockets, mind-numbed robots. With the power of Master Control under your belt, Frank says you have a responsibility to use it ethically. The curse he created for those who use it in an evil way is particularly horrifying.
With Frank's focus on the power of the "Reluctant Hero Model" it is appropriate to cover the different stages of the "Heroes Journey."
It would be fascinating to try to identify where each Internet personality is at this moment in time in their transformational process into a hero or heroine. Where do yo think each of the most successful Internet marketers and copywriters are in their heroes' or heroines' pathway?
In this posting sequence we will focus on Frank along with those in his inner circle, the members of his most intimate mastermind group.
After all, the heroes' and heroines' paradigm has always been the model for all the most successful entertainment, including books, movies, and TV programs. All the copywriters and marketers recommend using this outline to get people to relate to you and your product or service.
Here are the different stages of the heroes journey:
Part One of the Heroes or Heroine's Story is the Departure
1. Life in the ordinary world
2. Call to adventure
3. Refusal to accept the call
4. Meeting the mentor or mastermind partner
5. Crossing the first barrier
Part Two of the Heroes or Heroine's Story is the Descent, Initiation and Penetration
1. Road of trials where you meet many tests, trials, allies and enemies
2. Meeting with the god or goddess.
3. Woman or man who provides the major temptation
4. Atonement with the father or mother
5. Meeting the model of excellence, the Apotheosis
6. The ultimate reward
Part Three of the Heroes or Heroine's Story is the Return Back to Society
1. The refusal to return
2. The magic flight
3. Rescue from within
4. Crossing the threshold
5. The return
6. Master of two worlds
7. The freedom to live the life of your choice
In each of the next posts, I will clarify each part of the journey and how I see it applying to the Internet heroes.

As a part of Frank's Heroes journey, he probably considered and is still contemplating the following questions;
1. Who am I?
2. Where did I come from?
3. Where will I go when I die?
4. What is good and what is evil?
5. What are the standards to determine what is evil and good?
6. What should I do about understanding evil and good?
7. Should I experience evil so I can determine what is good?
8. What will tomorrow bring as I try to create my perfect day every day?
9. How will others impact my prefect day and what do I do about them?
The first part of Frank's journey began when he decided to change his life and pursue a different pathway, thanks to the Jeff Paul marketing letter he received in the mail. He chose to get involved in the wealth promises of Internet marketing.
His dog training business was a failure and he was living in a trailer, stone broke. Still, it had to be frightening to leave a known situation of failure and dissatisfaction with life to try something new, that he had no information about.
His decision to pursue Internet marketing was Frank's "Call To Adventure." It caused him to leave his ordinary, mundane world of failure and frustration.
Frank chose to enter the strange, alien world of the Internet marketing that many people consider to be inhabited by a secret society of mysterious, personality-warped, horn-rimmed bespectacled, socially reclusive, computer nerds, making millions of dollars, flipping the finger of unbelievable financial success to all the jocks who abused them in high school and college.
Obviously, Frank found a home with like-minded loners, losers and social outcasts who turned the financial world upside down by their mastery of the secrets of Internet marketing. At first, Frank was like a fish out of water, a newbie with nothing to offer but a desire to learn and a cynical, outrageous sense of self-deprecating humor.
Frank's goal is to stop being a loser, seek the joys of finding and keeping Internet treasure, achieve his dreams of financial freedom and change his miserable life. Little did he know the wild pathway and the major villain he would come up against that would try to destroy his newfound gains.
Frank definitely has tremendous first-hand experience of being the "Reluctant Hero" in his own life. There is always a gigantic FEAR of changing your life...no matter how miserable or wonderful.
Everyone resists change. It takes huge amounts of COURAGE to make any change because it is choice to confront the FEAR of the UNKNOWN. There is fear and terror when anyone confronts something outside their comfort zone that is reinforced by their family and inner circle of friends.
To be continued with the Mentor (wise old man or woman) that encouraged Frank

I'd imagine you could hear a pin drop 'cos the audience had fallen asleep.
"Oh god, not another IM guru who has 'Found the Light'! zzzzzzzzzzzz"
Did he put his hand up and take responsibility for his part in the "Making
tonnes of money will make you happy, give me $XXXX and I will show
the secret How-to..." circus?
I doubt Frank is either insane, on drugs or a genius. Probably just another
one from the mold espousing "True Happiness" values, as part of his
ongoing IM BS.
After all, we gotta keep finding a "new secret" or way of doing things
that we didn't know before, having realized that this "new secret" is
actually better, more effective etc. etc. than the old "new secret," ain't we?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for your input. You are a brave person to make the statement that Frank is just like all the other Internet BS'ers, jaded Internet gurus, only interested in ripping people off to make a dishonest buck.
but, I DISAGREE!!!
If you watch the video, the audience was on the edge of their seats. When Frank asked how many wanted to have the courage to create their own "perfect day" and experience "personal significance," 99% of the audience stood up to the tune of around $2,000 for Frank's course that does not yet exist but is probably in the making.
Now you could say that Frank's presentation was the act of a self-serving, egotistical, money-grubbing, fake Internet guru who is only interested in manipulating customers to become the biggest one-day grossing Internet marketer. OR, he really meant what he said and is experiencing an epiphany relating to his amassing wealth and material possessions, personal significance and vision for the future.
At this point we don't really know. Time will tell the tale.
If what Frank said was a lie, subconsciously everyone will realize it. He will lose his credibility and ability to sell anything. Most people, even the gullible, will see him as you describe,
"Oh god, not another IM guru who has 'Found the Light'! zzzzzzzzzzzz"
Did he put his hand up and take responsibility for his part in the "Making
tonnes of money will make you happy, give me $XXXX and I will show
the secret How-to..." circus?

Now it is appropriate to address the concept of the Mentor in Frank's heroes journey. Frank has had a lot of mentors, with perhaps the most influential being Jeff Paul and Dan Kennedy. John Reese, Yanik Silver, Jeff Walker and many of the other inner circle Internet marketers are sort of like co-mentors, mentoring each other.
I am confident Frank has other mentors who helped him prepare to face the unknown. Their advice, guidance and magical powers, that Frank's says it is okay to use for your own purposes as long as you give the mentors credit, helped make Frank what he is.
And, I should mention that at the Internet marketing seminars there are not just Internet marketers. There are many enlightened beings who have and are experiencing events in their lives that would make the strong-hearted faint.
Their lives and heroes and heroines stories have had a major impact on Frank...especially with the life and death experience of Sylvie Fortin and eternal questions resulting from the premature deaths of Phil Huff, Corey Rudl and Ken Giddens.
The best thing about mentors is they give us a kick in the pants. After listening to most of Frank and John Reese's marketing conversations, they are real mentors to many in the Internet marketing community.
They are kicking a lot of butts of those who keep buying Internet marketing training courses and not doing anything with what they learned. Their primary mantra is, "Do something!!! Start selling something! Stop buying the next big marketing bonanza that promises that you too will become wealthy if you just follow the instructions."
They are not BS'ing anyone. They are sick of Internet marketing seminar junkies that flock to the seminars, bitch about not making any money, but still buy the next "BIG DEAL" and feel good for a week because they know that if they actually decide to do something, they can have the next big mega-million dollar launch.
Frank and John's BIG ADVICE, according to the heroes journey is, Cross the Freakin' Threshold!!! Don't be a wimpy-ass, weak-spined, fear-filled, do-nothing lawn gnome that just sits on the lawn and soaks up water and sun.
Become a reluctant a hero or heroine that commits to the adventure of life and fully enters the new frontier of Internet marketing to become a success rather than remain a failure. Face the challenges of becoming a successful Internet marketer.
Get off YOUR ASS and DO Something. Realize! To be successful, you will have to work your butt off, spend lots of money and have lots of failures until you learn what works for you!
You cannot make millions sitting behind your computer in the basement of your house. You will have to go to seminars and Internet marketing events and actually work to get people to know, love and trust you.
Joint ventures are the fastest pathway to wealth and fame. You will have to pay a price...money, sweat equity or both.
Do you have the guts to DO SOMETHING?

I fully agree with everything Frank said, if what you post here is true.
He's not crazy or sick; most other people are. Look at the people who sell their bodies, undergo constant depression, people who rely on vices like smoking who get them through the day etc.
Those are the people with a problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good point. Insanity is definitely a subjective call. It does seem odd that society defines what they consider sanity, :Doing the same thing everyday and expecting different results."
Most people would consider entrepreneurs insane because they are willing to make mistakes and fail as many times as it takes to figure out how to make something work so they achieve their goal.
As in Frank's situation and all the others who have the guts to follow their own unique "Heroes Journey," the world needs more people willing to become the best they can be...no matter the cost or time required.

Ralph,
It's interesting that you are using Joseph Campbell's idea of the hero's journey in regards to Frank.
While I can easily see how you can make the comparisons to him going through his journey to get where he is today, I think it might be a bit much to call him a "hero" and IMHO I think that you are taking it too far. And no, I'm not here to take anything away from him...The guy IS simply *amazing* afterall.
Certainly some people might consider him to be such a hero, and its been said that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but I think of a hero I think of someone who has widespread far reaching affects that goes beyond involving monetary gain or teaching others about monetary gain.
If you are trying to extract who might be an IM "hero", Frank would definitely be up there.
Personally for me when I think of hero's I think of those that are the likes of Martin Luther King Jr , Mahatma Gandhi, and Mother Theresa. Martin Luther King Jr. helped to elevate the status of an entire group of people and change the way that society possibly even world-wide thinks of the color of a peoples skin. Mahatma Gandhi "single handedly" brought down an entire empire and did it through non-hostile means and without a single bullet, and Mother Theresa gave up her life to help Gods poor.
I'm sure that Frank would even agree that he couldn't touch these true heroes with a ten foot pole.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for your valuable perspective.
I agree that the people you identify are internationally famous, spiritual heroes. They had a huge impact on their worlds for good. However, they are unique in their moments in history where their pursuit of the "Heroes Journey" lead them to the pinnacle of accomplishment and fame without the benefit of wealth and political power.
If we use these people as the standard for heroism, then few of us can follow in their footsteps to achieve similar fame and receive the accolades they experienced. Few of us can ever hope to have the impact of a Martin Luther, Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Theresa.
But, the "Heroes Journey" as defined by Joseph Campbell, is available to every person who is willing to take up the challenge of actively searching for the ultimate purpose of their life, that is unique to them. It is not so important that a person achieves international recognition.
The value of the "Heroes Journey" by anyone is that they seek to become the ultimate person they can possibly be. The power in their lives is that each person is unique.
Their decision to abandon apathy, to begin the heroes quest for a more exciting and fulfilling life, filled with the extremes of emotion, transforms them and those involved in their lives.
They willingly seek to experience the heights and depths of human experience in recurring cycles of: despair to hope, weakness to strength, folly to wisdom, love to hate and fear to courage and often in the reverse order.
Their impact on the world may not be as magnificent as Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Theresa but, even if they can change their own lives, so they are more self-sacrificing, rather than self-centered, who knows what impact on the world one unrecognized act can have?
It is like the "Butterfly Effect." The flapping of a butterfly's wings on one side of the planet can cause atmospheric changes on the other side of the world...similar to Mike Filsaime's Butterfly Marketing philosophy, who I am confident is a mentor to Frank.
My two secret wealth mentors told me, "You cannot make permanent social change unless you have the wealth to pay off the politicians and government officials. The only exceptions are world-changers like Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa who tap into a supernatural power that transcends human experience to change the world in ways that are unimaginable to the human mind."
There definitely is a spiritual or supernatural power that works through certain individuals that transcends the influence of money and political power. In the cases of the heroes you identify, you might consider they were reacting or responding to divine intervention...what people consider the "Power of God or the Universal Unconscious Mind."
The reason I chose Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" book as the philosophical basis of the "In Search Of Heroes Program" is that Napoleon recognized the value and power of the major religions. The creators and contributors like Jesus Christ, Mohamed, Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi had a huge cultural impact on the societies of their time. There was definitely a spiritual component that transcended the power of wealth and political influence.
Frank is definitely an Internet hero. He may or many not be a moral, ethical or spiritual hero. Only time will tell as we watch his life and the choices he makes.
After all, Frank is only human like every one of us. He definitely makes no claim of divine enlightenment...just the opposite.
Frank has simply tapped into the power of the "universal unconsciousness" defined by Napoleon Hill. Frank is following Napoleon's model of creating powerful mastermind group with the common goal of helping others achieve financial independence and freedom.
It will be interesting to see how his quest for "personal significance" evolves.
I have recognized many others in Internet community over the last five years as a part of the "In Search Of Heroes Program." The reason I focused on Internet heroes is that there is an incredible opportunity to generate massive amounts of income in a short period of time through the Internet.
Once young people learn from these brilliant individuals, how to make money for themselves, family and community through the Internet, there is a unique power that comes from the ability to fund the local programs and changes that need to be made to improve the quality of life for everyone in that community.
When I discuss tests, allies and enemies tomorrow, my perspective will be clearer about Frank's "Heroes Journey."

Do you think this is a cold, calculated ploy by Frank Kern to rip the money out of people's wallets, promising them "personal significance" along with eternal wealth?
OR, Do you think unwitting Internet groupies have the discernment to forsake Frank's latest promise of Internet personal nirvana?

Hi Ralph,
You have a good way with words.
But, one thing I wanted to go back to is:
quote : Few of us can ever hope to have the impact of a Martin Luther, Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Theresa.
Actually, we ALL can hope that we have an impact like these people, but few of us ever will since we as a collective group at this point in society associate more with our egos which prevents us from tapping into our true nature.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
That is so true, however, with the social strife and economic setbacks that seem to be popping up like poisonous mushrooms, there is hope that courageous individuals will seek the "Heroes Journey." It does not take very many individuals like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, and Martin Luther King, Jr. to radically change any society for GOOD.
The goal of the "In Search of Heroes Program" is to present the steps of the "Heroes Journey" along with the most up-to-date knowledge about how to maximize the powers of the human mind and body. With a little bit of knowledge on how to:
1. Identify the genetic differences between boys and girls bodies and minds
2. Accelerate each person's inherent genius using mindmapping and the teachings of Napoleon Hill
3. Use body and face language to read other people's minds
4. Achieve optimal health and athletic performance through hormone and biorhythm awareness
If I can provide the steps and tools necessary to give every person the opportunity to succeed in their "Heroes Journey" anything is possible. It is time more people had the courage to attempt to be a Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mother Theresa.
As Captain Biorhythm, my right brain hero, would say, "Rise up heroes and heroines, the world needs you now!"

Tests, Allies and Enemies at your local BAR!
After Frank bought Jeff Paul's little manual on how to make $4,000 in your underwear, he entered into a the Special World of Internet Marketing. He made friends and enemies while he learned the rules of the "Making Money On the Internet Game."
In the prototypical world of Heroes, they usually have moments of inspiration and desperation in bars or saloons. I am not that familiar with Frank's drinking habits, but I imagine he has hoisted a few beers in his time. I will learn more in April when I attend Frank's Mass Control Seminar in San Diego. I will be sure to bring my cameras so I can document the action, during the seminar and after hours.
At most of the Internet marketing seminars I photographed, the most entertaining action occurred in the bars, long after the seminar ended. The "watering holes' at the different hotels, reminded me of the bars in the Star Wars sagas...inhabited by all manner of creatures of the night. Many of the top marketers know how to party and are usually buying drinks for their friends into the wee hours of the night. That is when and where many friendships were made and cemented.
Also, classically, bars are the venues where Heroes are tested by unsavory characters who are aggressive, hostile, irritating and sometimes inspirational. Knowledge of street fighting techniques and attitudes toward the opposite sex are often revealed in the heat of the night.
The Approach to the Innermost Cave and The Supreme Ordeal
Before I discuss the "Approach to the Innermost Cave and The Supreme Ordeal" I wanted to identify the many different types of heroes and heroines. "For simplicity sake, I will refer to both men and women as heroes.)
Frank's marketing model focuses on the "Reluctant Hero", "Hometown Boy or Girl Make Good" and "Us Versus Them."
There are many other types of heroes, whose stories grab the reader and create empathy, that can be integrated into Frank's marketing system.
They are:
1. Willing Heroes who are active, gung-ho and committed to the heroes journey.
2. Anti-Heroes who are outlaws, outcasts, outsiders, or rebels.
They often are cynical, wounded individuals who people relate to because most of us feel alienated from our family, friends and our society at one time or another in our lives.
Some Anti-Heroes may also be tragic characters who are not liked by anyone. They are flawed individuals who never overcome their inner demons and are eventually destroyed by their own inner turmoil. We relate to them because many of us think, "There for the grace of God, go I."
The wounded Anti-heroes are often warriors or leaders who have been rejected by society or they have forsaken society because of some major injustice.
3. Loner Heroes are similar to the "Lone Ranger" and the "Punisher" who are estranged from society, live in the wilderness or lawless areas of the society. They seek solitude but are called by civil justice to right some terrible wrong. They return to help the society, but always seem uncomfortable around average citizens. Sometimes their actions result in good being created when evil individuals are destroyed.
4. Catalyst Heroes are characters who star in a story of personal transformation. They are the ones who change the least but cause others to change dramatically. They may act heroically but their primary function in the story is to act as a catalyst to cause others to experience emotional, intellectual and/or spiritual growth.
Frank's Approach to the Innermost Cave and Supreme Ordeal.
Frank's search for ultimate Internet success, scored by the greatest amount of money made in the shortest period of time, led him down the heroes pathway to a major conflict with the evil forces in the government. The FTC thought "Internet Empires" was a multi-level, "Ponzi Scheme" where nothing of value was exchanged.
Because of his amazing financial success, when "Internet Empires" exploded like viral wild-fire, Frank suddenly became a "Deep Pockets" person of interest. The government officials were intent on protecting brain-dead, perpetual victims and innocent consumers from the wicked machinations of evil Internet marketers.
Frank suddenly went from the epitome of success, enjoying the respect of his peers and reveling in the envy of his detractors, to the depths of financial HELL! He was now confronting the supreme danger of financial death, perhaps even criminal incarceration.
Of course, we all tremble, shudder and maybe "pee in our pants" at the very though battling the IRS or the FTC. Who can survive the onslaught of gung-ho government officials with unlimited resources on a ethics violation crusade?
Frank did not know whether her would survive their murderous onslaught. He suddenly had to marshal his forces to come up with a battle plan. He enlisted the aid of his Internet buddies and marketing experts and hired the most skilled and knowledgeable Internet lawyers.
Unfortunately, Frank's victory in the battle was denied. After months of emotional agony, doubt, fear and terror, and around $350,000 in legal expenses and restitution, Frank was crushed down to his knees, begging for relief from the ongoing attacks by faceless government do-gooders. All his assets and bank accounts had been frozen and confiscated by voracious government officials.
The evil government officials had destroyed Frank's life, OR HAD THEY? Would Frank survive...make it back after facing "FEAR ITSELF" or just turn into an embittered, angry, Internet marketing victim?
Frank's Reward, Road Back, Resurrection and Magic Elixir
Thankfully, Frank's Road Back from total defeat by the evil governmental forces was not long. After licking his wounds for a while, Frank decided to use his conflict with the government as a way of getting people to have empathy for him and come to know, love and trust him. After paying off his fines and promising FTC to use "Disclaimers" on his sites, Frank soon began experiencing amazing success working with his Internet marketing allies and created some amazing, world-changing, major Internet marketing successes: "Strategic Profits," Underachiever," "Stompernet" and ultimately "Mass Control."
Frank's Resurrection was accomplished by washing off the symbolic blood from his catastrophic battle with the FTC, as they slashed and chopped his bank accounts and assets into smithereens, in the invigorating waves of the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps, stimulated by his life and death experience with the government, Frank continues to challenge FATE by surfing the pounding surf at "La Jolla Shores," "Tressles" and "Black's Beach." Riding big waves and surviving terrible wipeouts definitely helps you remember the important things in life.
With Frank's eventual migration to the position of "Personal Significance" and creating your "Perfect Day" has definitely been influenced by his "Heroes Journey." After rebuilding his life, Frank brought back his "Magic Powers," the secret elixir of how to make money with out working millions of hours and hardly trying. Frank, with his "Reluctant Hero" "Us vs Them" and "Hometown Boy and Girl Make Good" copywriting and marketing strategies is changing the world for many entrepreneurs.
They are taking advantage of Frank's and other marketing geniuses' "Magic Powers." They now understand how to incorporate the "Holy Grail" of awesome copywriting into their marketing efforts to "Mass Control" their customers, make awesome amounts of money while over-delivering value that transcends anything offered by their competitors.
