How true this is. We become what we think about all day long. Napoleon Hill said it so eloquently.

Dear Vietnam Vet,

No one knows about your first email other than you and me.
There is no harm done other than it caused me to question
my relationship with the Rick I interviewed.

Great about the meds. They kill your mind and body.
Hurray! You have overcome a serious source of drug
addiction.

I received the "As a Man Does" by James Allen. Thanks!
It is very inspirational.

Thank you for the opportunity to read you journal.
It is a privilege.

I have not had time to look at it. I am under some big deadlines.

Go to my blog and read some of the heroes interviews. They will inspire you.
Many of the heroes went through very difficult times.

Alex is a good man. I agree on being a leader who helps others
come to the conclusion "We did it ourselves!" That is true
leadership, the type I aspire to.

The trees are awesome with the white snow and blue sky.
Your daughter and granddaughter are beautiful. Glad you will
be around to help them during their lives. I know they love you!

Take care,
Ralph

Part 21: I Am Going To Commit Suicide in Two Weeks and There Is Nothing You Can Say Or Do To Stop Me From Killing Myself!!!" by Ralph Zuranski

1-3-08 9:20 AM friend response

Ralph,

Feel free to use what ever you can if it can help someone. I will trust you to change all the names you might find in the writings and letters.

I have never heard of 3rd stage adrenal exhaustion. But just the words adrenal exhaustion bring about something familiar. I will have to think about it and read about it.

There was a point years ago when I began having anxiety attacks until I realized that I was doing it to myself by allowing myself to be in a constant state of fight or flight. I was filling myself with toxic adrenalin and not using it.

Therefore leaving it to overload my whole system. I have to remember to monitor my thought process when I am sane enough so I don't let myself get that way. I haven't been very good at it lately.

You know the best description I ever heard about war was. " Long periods of boredom interrupted by moments of shear terror." it doesn't take long for that to imprint someone's nervous system.

I was thinking how the new wartime buzz words are terrorism, IED, Roadside Bomb. I don't know about other Vietnam Vets But for me it sure brings on some emotions.

That was how the VC fought a great deal of their battles. They were more interested in maiming than killing. Because not only was it demoralizing, it used up extra man power and helped to fuel the fires of the protesters back on the brick.

Here I go down the path I don't want to be on so I will stop here.

Thanks again
