"LUCK: FACT OR FICTION? KNOWING WHEN YOU'LL BE LUCKY CAN BE WORTH MILLIONS" by Harvey Makishima

Harvey Makishima has been studying professional athletes for over 11 years and has done over 1,000,000 biorhythm charts on professional athletes. His biorhythm team software this year has bee 78% accurate in predicting the winner of professional football games. He has kindly allowed me to reproduce some of his articles and sports, luck and biorhythms awareness. I hope to get his help in assisting the San Diego Chargers bust their biorhythm instability so they can win the rest of their games and eventually the Super Bowl this season.

Thanks Harve!

The following article describes how you can capture your elusive luck.

I think you'll agree that knowing when you'll be lucky can significantly increase your chance of winning. Have you experienced times where you were unusually lucky and had extremely good hands dealt to you? What if you knew in advance that you were going to have a day with a lot of "hot" hands? Or what if you knew when you had the best chance of hitting jackpots on the slot machines?

For 23 years I’ve of poured over data, recorded highly unusual, lucky events and tracked hundreds of people before and after they won at many different games of chance such as slots, poker, lotteries, blackjack, and sports betting. I now believe that I’ve discovered specific periods of time where people are simply luckier than at other times!

The key to this knowledge lies in biorhythms. It's really not mysterious or a secret. The information has always existed as long as mankind has, it simply had to be discovered and documented. I've taken 23 years doing this.

BIORHYTHM SUMMARY
Basically, biorhythms are based upon the fact that many things within nature happen in cycles or things that occur and recur. Some examples of these kinds of cycles are: planets orbiting around the sun, migration of birds and fish; menstrual cycles - the list is almost endless as to the kinds of cycles that exist within nature.

One form of energy that occurs in cycles is electricity. Biorhythms are affected by energy within our bodies. Our bodies and each cell within it have an electrical charge, indeed, even the molecules and atoms of which our bodies consist have positive and negative charges. Scientists tell us that our bodies are essentially large batteries. This supports the hypotheses below which points to an involvement of energy for the existence of biorhythm.

Biorhythm consists of three cycles: physical, emotional and intellectual. I have assigned symbols and numerical values to each of the cycles corresponding to the point or day within that cycle.

The physical cycle consists of 23 days; the emotional cycle 28 days; and the intellectual cycle 33 days. The emotional cycle governs what some biorhythm researchers call "bio-luck" which appears to be related to confidence and some form of positive mental attitude. But I believe it may be more than that and somewhat metaphysical in nature.

In science and metaphysical studies experts state that energy is within us and around us and exists within the cosmos. If we accept the existence of this energy then what one biorhythm expert stated makes a good deal of sense. He stated that we can liken biorhythm to a scenario where an individual enters a dark room and "hits" the light switch. In doing so sometimes a sudden surge of energy causes the bulb to burst its filament. I believe that at specific points on the emotional cycle we have an energy surge which creates "luck" or some unusual effect that science does not now fully understand or can not explain. I can only state that from recording positive outcomes and good luck for over 23 years that I’ve found specific points where highly unusual luck occurs. These points or days occur on the 8th, 15th, 16th and 22nd day of the emotional cycle. I represent these days on the graph with an "H", "C", "X" and "L" respectively. These are mini-caution and caution days. These are the four points where I have recorded the greatest number of events of highly unusual luck. These are the days when you're most likely to get your Royal Flush, Fours-of-a- Kind in poker or video poker; increased numbers and larger jackpots on slot machines; far more blackjacks and stand-pat hands when playing blackjack. In general, whichever games of chance you enjoy playing you’ll have better luck on these particular days than when you have a minus “-“ on your emotional cycle. As for the extraordinary luck, it won't happen every time you have these days - but when you do get this kind of unusual luck, it will most likely occur on one of these four days.

You’ll also find that good luck occurs when your emotional cycle is in the area above the line, including the Caution days which occur on the 15th and 16th days of the emotional cycle.

Note that the biorhythm chart can be viewed to be in four sections:
Ascending above the line: +
Descending above the line: #
Descending below the line: -
Ascending above the line: *

There are also symbols and values representing the Caution or Critical days as well as Mini-Caution or Mini-critical days.

Ascending cycle on the line: c
Descending cycle on the line: C
Second critical day: X
At the peak or apogee: H
At the bottom or perigee: L

Generally, above the line (positive) represented by the "+" or "#" is luckier than below the line (negative) in each of the cycles. The section represented by the "+" and "#" symbols are the more favorable sections and conversely, the section represented by the "*" and "-" are less favorable and less lucky than the positive sections above the line. The higher you are on the graph of the emotional cycle the luckier you'll tend to be. There is one exception to this rule of thumb which is the 22nd day of the emotional cycle which we've discussed above.

The two negative sections which exist below the line can be likened to a battery where the "-" is depleting the energy and the "*" section is recharging the energy in the battery. The "+" section is fully charged and the "#" section is somewhat less than fully charged. The "-" is the least lucky of the sections on the biorhythmic chart. If you conducted a simple test of recording the kinds of hands that are dealt to you when you have a "-" versus when you have a "+" you'll see how biorhythms affect your luck. You'll want to record the hands dealt to you at both of the mini-caution days to see the difference and compare them with other days of the emotional cycle. The minus ("-") section of the biorhythmic chart is by far the worst of the four sections in terms of luck. To give statistical support to the hypotheses that the positive sections of the biorhythm chart are luckier that the sections which lie below the line in the biorhythm chart, I have some remarkable data pertaining to golf and the 1990, 1991, and 1992 PGA tournaments.

PGA Tournament Champions
Golf requires the emotional cycle to be positive for the best scores. Many golfers that I’ve followed have had their lifetime best with a plus in both emotional and intellectual cycles. Not surprisingly, a minus in the physical cycle did not appear to affect the play of those golfers since excessive strength and endurance are not usually a primary requirement for playing well.

During the PGA Tournaments the biorhythms of the first place winners in each of 121 tournaments were calculated. (There were 126 PGA tournaments played however, I did not have birth dates of 5 of the champions). The following interesting data was obtained from the analysis:

Of the 121 tournaments:

• 79 winners had an emotionally positive (+ or #) phase during the four-day tournament. This equates to 65% or roughly: For every three tournaments, two were won by a golfer with a positive emotional cycle.

• Of even greater significance was that only 11 tournament winners were in a descending negative phase during the majority of their four-day golf tournament. Out of a total of 121 tournament winners this represents only 9%. This negative descending phase is represented by the "-" symbol in the chart and has a very unfavorable and unlucky impact upon performance in golf. I've found this to be the case in every sport and this especially applies in games of chance. If you believe in playing the percentages you should participate in games of chance when your biorhythms are positive and at the two mini-cautions ("H" and "L") and not gamble when you are in a minus "-" phase of the emotional cycle. Just think of the competitive edge you'll have over your opponents. Try this - it works!

With over 23 years of verifying the results of winners in various games of chance I've discovered four special days on the emotional cycle of your biorhythm that produces highly unusual luck. Highly unusual luck is the kind of luck that can overcome the very difficult odds of winning at games such as lotteries, hitting royal flushes on slot machines etc.

The four luckiest days for you (and all of us) are the 8th, 15th, 16th and 22nd day of the emotional cycle. You can identify these days in my software program by finding the "H", "C", "X" and "L" when you compute your individual biorhythm.

Here are some personal examples of how I've tracked and determined that these four days are the "luckiest of them all."
Twelve years ago I was at a casino called Boomtown and I was extremely lucky at blackjack (one of those days where you feel you could do no wrong) and I was getting a lot of "blackjacks"). I started with $40 and after about an hour I cashed in for $325. I put $300 in my wallet and asked the cashier for $25 in $1 silver coins so I could play the dollar slot machines.

I put three coins in a few times but the woman that gave me the silver dollars said, "On those machines you need to put in four silver dollars." As soon as she said that I pulled the handle and saw three sultans in the slot machine's window holding signs with $1,000 on them. I hit a $1,000 jackpot! The slot machine paid $200 in silver coins and while I was waiting for the attendants to pay me the additional $800 and re-set the slot machine, I hit another $100 dollar jackpot!

Later that evening, I checked my biorhythm and found that my emotional cycle was at the 8th day (at the "peak").

Nine years after I hit the $1,000 jackpot my family and I were at Circus Circus in Reno and I mentioned to my wife that she was at the same point on the emotional cycle that I was when I hit my jackpot. Wanting to take advantage of my previous experience she played $1 slots and - believe it or not - she also hit a $1,000 jackpot on a dollar slot machine!
A few months later an acquaintance won $10 million on a California lottery ticket. His biorhythm indicated his emotional cycle was on the 22nd day when he purchased the ticket. I noted that this event and the one mentioned above occurred on mini-caution days of the emotional cycle. Thereafter, whenever I spoke to anyone about an extraordinarily, lucky event I checked their biorhythm and found that most often it was on their mini-caution and caution dates. (When I speak of "extraordinarily lucky" I consider the odds to be more than several thousand to one). Most of us can hit jackpots of $100 to $500 on dollar slots fairly frequently, but hitting $1,000 or more is significantly more difficult.

Another good example, is my neighbor who is retired at 72 years of age. His mini-caution day is always on a Tuesday although he takes the bus to Reno on different days of the week. Eleven years ago he hit a Royal Flush on a quarter machine that paid over $1,300. His bio was a mini-caution day (22nd day of the emotional cycle). Six years later he hit a Royal Flush on a nickel slot machine and his bio was on the 8th day of the emotional cycle - another mini-caution day. Just recently he hit another Royal Flush on a nickel machine and his bio was on the 16th day of the emotional cycle - a critical/caution day on the emotional cycle. In summary, for each of the three Royal Flushes that he has won, he was at either a mini-caution or caution day of the emotional cycle.

Recently, my uncle who is a conservative slot player, mentioned to me that he hit a $600 jackpot and that it was the largest one in his life. His bio was on the 16th day of the emotional cycle. I noted that my uncle and neighbor had both won large jackpots on the 16th day of the emotional cycle. Coincidentally, my wife and I were at Harvey's Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe for a relaxing one-day trip. She started with $20 and was so lucky at blackjack that she won $300. She then went to a dollar slot machine and started with another $20 and suddenly won a $1,000 jackpot.! This was only the second time she has hit a $1,000 jackpot in her entire life! Later that evening I was curious as to what her biorhythm was so I computed it and found that it was a caution day - the 16th day of the emotional cycle!

Since the start of tracking the mini-caution and caution dates twelve years ago I have a large number of examples of this kind of unusual luck occurring on the four specific dates of the emotional cycle.

I believe you'll find the same kind of extraordinary luck to take place on these mini-caution and caution days of the emotional cycle. You may want to track this in the future as well as review your past wins and determine when you or someone you know has had an unusually lucky win to verify what date of the emotional cycle that the event occurred.

If you play games of chance such as poker, blackjack, slots, keno, craps, bingo, roulette etc. you should play on one of the mini-caution or caution days of your emotional cycle.
